The first thing I realized when I woke up, was that I never checked up on Minho at night. No one ever assured me Minho was okay. Newt did say it was just a dream, but I had to see Minho to be fully convinced.

With a dark feeling, I got dressed into some run clothes as fast as I could. Only thinking about how there was a chance I would see Minho's dead body lying on the ground, made me worried as hell.

My heart beat faster than usual, just for me to realize how badly I cared for Minho. When finally, I got ready, I rushed out of the hut. My eyes spun from the ground, to the Homestead, and other places in the Glade, and to my luck, I saw no dead bodies.

But what if Alby moved him? Am I turning crazy?

I bit my lip and stood in line for breakfast, not feeling like going to Minho's hut. I would get suspicious! "Yo, Newbie!" Frypan cheerfully greeted me, handing me a plate.

"Thanks, Fry," I mumbled, not realizing how easily everyone could see I was upset. "See ya."

Frypan's eyes burned in my back as I walked toward the table we always sat on. I almost stopped right in my tracks when I saw that Minho's seat was empty. So was Chuck's, but I saw him lie next to me in bed.

My breathing hitched and I tried to control my emotions, which were already turning bad. "Where's Minho?" I asked Newt as I sat down.

"I don't know. Haven't seen him yet." Newt simply answered. "You okay?"

"Yeah, fine." I paused. "You?"

"I'm alright." Newt chuckled for some reason, but I didn't. I couldn't.

With my head down and not a clear word coming out of my mouth, I started eating. The food tasted awful, somehow. It was like it landed on my completely empty stomach, aching.

I got more worried by the second and was lost in my mind that I didn't even hear Newt speaking, until he called out my name. "Jane!"

My head snapped up. "Huh? Yeah?"

"He's right there." Newt pointed behind me.

I turned around and gasped. Minho was standing a few feet away from us, ready to go wait in line.

Thank god.

Without thinking, I ran over to him and wrapped my arms around him, hugging him tightly. I was so happy it was just a dream and I didn't actually kill Minho or Newt.

"Uhm.. good morning to you too." Minho hesitantly put a hand on the back of my head.

"You're alive," I whispered, burying my head in Minho's shoulder.

"Yeah, I suppose I don't die overnight, do I?" Minho let go of me and watched me in confusion. "You okay, Shebean?"

Quickly I pulled away from Minho, realizing I literally hugged him out of a sudden, in an intense way. "Sorry." I apologized, looking down as my whole face turned deep red.

"Don't worry. I would like a hug too if I saw a handsome face like this." Minho joked, clearly proud of himself. "But I asked you something."

"What did you say?" I wondered, not remembering Minho asking me something since I was too busy apologizing for my sudden attack.

"I asked if you were okay." Minho frowned at my reaction.

"Me? Oh, I'm fine." I lied. I didn't feel the best, but also not the worst. It was weird.
"You go get.. your breakfast. I'm gonna continue eating." I mumbled before I walked away.

Steal some medical supplies.

Yay, there it was again. What's your stupid consequence this time?
