Q/N - Chapter will still focus on the issue at hands but I've also added some snippets of Raizadas' summer celebration :)

--*--

There was no dearth of ideas or occasions for Mrs. Khushi Singh Raizada to charm her already besotted husband. She had done this once; she had done this twice and then she had enchanted him many times in her 12 years of married life.

Thus, when her super-creative brain came up with not one but at least 3 solid ideas to 'break' her Arnavji's 'tapasya (penance)', she felt proud of herself! It was clear that the 'direct approach' was not working, so she had to take an indirect route, play it cool and bring back her Arnavji's romantic side!

Khushi grinned as she thought of this plan, 'Now I'll see Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, bach ke aap kaha jaoge(where will you hide yourself)?'

She immediately started with the first one, which was a guaranteed success per her experience!

It was to annoy her husband! Yes, as crazy as it sounded, but in Arnav and khushi's world, him getting annoyed with her was a sure-shot beginner for an intensely passionate encounter! Ever since they got married (or rather remarried), every time she did anything knowingly or inadvertently to pester him, he would get super irritated and then unable to do anything with her as he loved this crazy-adorable bundle of mess to his death, he would pull her closer and kiss her till she forgot everything but him! And likewise, he would forget he could ever get angry too!!!

Khushi immediately got to work that evening when Arnav returned from the office! The plan was simple. Play a little game called 'repeat after me'! Do not let him get a whiff of what she was up to, cleverly engage him in a battle of words and then, take him to the limits of his patience so he will finally give up and end this misery for both of them.

The sound of his footsteps alerted her, and Khushi quickly got up to check if she looked ok.

"hey." Arnav greeted her with a small smile, "How was your day?"

"Hey. How was your day?" she repeated the question word-to-word, approaching him with a matching smile and took his laptop bag from his hands.

He looked quizzingly at her but still answered, "It was ok, I guess. I need a coffee though. Can you please bring it?"

"It was ok, I guess. I need a coffee though. Can you please bring it?" came her reply -not mimicking- yet repeating!

"Alright. I see what you are doing. But stop that right now!" Arnav glared at her.

She didn't budge even after hearing his threat but rather repeated every single thing. She could see he was on the verge of giving up and then she was very close to victory. Any moment now, Arnavji will pull her closer!

However, she would soon realize she had overestimated herself as he said, "Khushi puri pagal hai(Khushi is totally crazy)." and so lost she was in celebrating her imaginary victory, she almost repeated,

"Khushi is totally cra-" she stopped mid-way realizing she lost the game as well as the plan while Arnav had already walked away, shaking his head, and getting into the bathroom to get freshened up.

Any other woman might have felt discouraged after that or even given up, but Khushi had taken a vow and she had to fulfill it in any case!

Thus, she took out her second missile - err- idea. It was called 'ignorance', the oldest trick in the book of romance to draw your lover's attention!

So, she started with it. No hugs, no pecking on his cheek first thing in the morning, no good-bye kisses, nothing!
