👼 MY ANGEL 👼

Jeremy got up from the bench and straightened his coat. Without looking at Elsa, he walked out of the police station.

Elsa felt a stab in her heart. He must believe she actually stole the bracelet.

She decided to catch up to him and clear her name after the police gave her back her shoes, the bracelet Jeremy gave her, her phone, and the necklace they took from her.

Elsa ignored the pain in her body and ran outside to find Jeremy.

She refused to believe that Jeremy would tell those cellmates to beat her up. It didn't make sense to her.

She found Jeremy's car parked at the entrance. He was inside gripping his steering wheel tightly just looking at  the road.

Elsa opened the front passenger door and got in. In her mind, she believed he was waiting for her so he could take her home.

Elsa didn't say anything about what happened the previous night with the cellmates, not even to the police officers. She didn't want to tell Jeremy about it now, not until she cleared her name.

Just when she was thinking about the events of last night, asking herself how that bracelet got inside her pockets without her putting it there, she remembered something.

Victoria!

She got close to her last night and hugged her tightly and for a painfully long time. And then immediately after, the woman bumped into her.

Of course! Victoria planted the bracelet on her.

That was why she said those words. That is why she called her Gwen several times. That is why she told her she was going to get her beat up.

Jeremy should know. He should know it wasn't her.

Jeremy hadn't started the car yet and was just seated there looking at the road deep in thought.

Elsa turned to him and called out softly, “Jeremy...”

But Jeremy didn't answer. He didn't even look at her. He remained quiet.

“Jeremy.” She called out again.

“.....”

But she didn't get a response this time either.

“Jeremy please believe me, I didn't steal the bracelet.”

“....”

“Jeremy?”

“.....”

"(Sighs shakily) Jeremy, please?"

He was giving her the silent treatment? Why?

“I know you think I stole the bracelet, but I didn't. I think someone framed me. Someone put it in my pocket. I think Victoria planted the bracelet on me to frame me.”

The moment she mentioned Victoria, Jeremy suddenly turned his head and looked at her.

His eyes were not as gentle and loving as before. They were red and held anger. They were cold. As cold as they were before.

He gritted his teeth as his grip on his steering wheel tightened even more making his veins bulge out.

“Get out!” He ordered in a deep icy voice.

Elsa furrowed her eyebrows. “What?” She didn’t understand.

“Get out of my car!” He said before looking away again.

Elsa felt pricks in her heart when she heard that.

Elsa reached for him with her hand. “Jeremy-”

“I said get out!” He suddenly yelled so loud that Elsa jumped in her seat and took her hand back before it could touch him.

She looked at him in disbelief. He was kicking her out of his car?

“Jer-”

She didn’t get to finish that word because his red eyes turned to her and his cold gaze shot through her making her unable to speak.

He was kicking her out of the car. He wanted her gone.

She opened the car door and slowly got out of the car. Hoping in her heart he would call her back.

But the moment she got off, he immediately drove away leaving her on the side of the road.
