You are hanging out with your friends at your house. You boyfriend Rafe, Sarah, John B, Kie, JJ, and Pope.
"I'll be right back." Rafe says walking in the direction to the bathroom.
"Hey umm...does John B love you?" you ask Sarah.
"Yeah, of course he does." Sarah says.
"Why are you asking?" John B ask.
"Rafe doesn't love me." you say.
"What do you mean?" Pope ask.
"I told him that I love him and he didn't...say it back." you say.
Everyone looks at you now feeling sad for you.
"What did he say?" Kie ask.
"He said that's nice." you tell them.
"What a dickhead." JJ says.
"What? Everyone loves you." Sarah says.
"I know! That's why I'm so confused." you say.
*Rafe walks out of the bathroom*
The vibe is weird now and everyone is staring at him while JJ gives him a death stare.
"I think I'm in the wrong place. I should go." you say wiping some tears away and walking out to the back yard.
Rafe watches you leave and then looks back at the pogues.
"What's wrong with her?" Rafe ask.
"Did Y/N say that she loves you?" JJ ask Rafe.
"Yeah...she did." Rafe says.
"And what did you say?" Kie ask.
"I said...that's nice." Rafe says now staring at the ground.
"You piece of shit." JJ says under his breath.
"Why didn't you tell Y/N you love her? She loves you so much! Why didn't you say it back!?" Sarah ask her brother.
"Because! I...I can't say it." Rafe says.
"What do you mean you can't say it?" Pope ask.
"Whenever I commit to a relationship by saying that, it doesn't last long after. I don't do relationships." Rafe says.
"But Rafe Y/N isn't like any of the other girls you've dated. She's not some girl that wants a guy for the week and then leaves. She really cares and loves you." Sarah says.
"Even though I don't know what she sees in you anyway." JJ says.
"JJ!" Kie says.
"Y/N's different but how do I know that she isn't going to pick up and leave right after? What do I do then?" Rafe says.
"She isn't like that. Now do you love her?" Sarah ask.
"I...do. I love her." Rafe says.
"Then go tell her!" Sarah says.
Rafe walks out to the back yard to see you sitting down with your knees up covering your body as your head rest on them.
"Y/N can we talk?" Rafe ask.
"What about Rafe?" you say sniffling.
"Say those 3 words to me again." Rafe says.
"What about Rafe?" you say confused.
"No the other 3 words. 8 letters." Rafe says.
"I love you?" you say.
"I love you too." Rafe says.
"What? I thought you didn't?" you ask.
"I do. I was just too scared to say them." Rafe says.
"Well that's nice." you say letting out a slight laugh.
"Shut up." Rafe says and kisses you.
