The alarm was ear piercing, the red flashing lights nowhere near enough to light the tunnels.

Sophie tried to lead Lori and Carl through, but she'd only been in there once, and hated it. She hated how dependent on Sami she felt, sometimes. She was so use to him being there, that when he wasn't she didn't know how to act.

Lori stopped suddenly, leaning against the wall, holding her stomach. "Something's not right."

"Are you bit?" Carl questioned.

"No, no, no, no." Lori held tightly to Sophie's hands as she held her sides, trying to help her stabilize. "I think the baby's coming."

Like her words were a dinner bell, the walkers stumbled in from all directions.

Sophie put Lori's arm over her shoulders, trying to help her walk as Carl ran ahead of them, dodging walkers and turning down the empty halls, before Carl found a doorway, opening it. They ran in, finding a boiler room, Carl following, shutting the door behind them.

They stayed quiet, listening to the walkers pass as Lori held tightly to a metal rod on the wall, another contraction hitting as her face scrunched up.

"This . . . this baby is coming now." Lori panted.

Carl looked at her. "We have to get back to the cell block, get Hershel to-"

"No." Sophie shook her head. "Lori can hardly walk, we won't make it if we get caught by walkers."

"Great." Lori tried to even her breathing. "So, I'm having a baby here?"

Sophie nodded. "We'll try."

Danny couldn't hear the alarms, but he could see the lights flashing red in the tunnels. He walked ahead of T-Dog and Carol, the latter of which was supporting the other. T-Dog was the only one who had been through the halls before, but he lost so much blood he'd almost passed out as he lead them through. But he was determined to get them out.

The lights were flashing so fast, that even when they were on, Danny couldn't see a thing. Someone had started power from somewhere, making the halls main light come on. But he heard groaning ahead, only seeing the odd flash of a walker as Carol's gun clicked.

"Go back!" She yelled.

"No. We're close!"

"No!"

T-Dog roared as he ran forward, straight at the walkers, slamming them into the walls, holding them back.

"Go!" He roared desperately. "Go!"

Carol grabbed Danny's arm, running towards the door beside T-Dog.

But Danny stopped, looking at him.

"Go! I'm already dead!"

One walker bit into his arm, blood spewing all around him as it tore away his flesh, the other going for his neck.

Danny couldn't stop watching until Carol pulled him out of the doorway, and it closed behind them, hiding him from view.

Sami held the door to the generator room shut, his entire body pressing it closed, along with Daryl beside him, as the walkers hit against it, growling on the other side. Rick and Oscar were by the generators, trying to shut them off, stop the alarm and stop the gate from being opened.
