Chapter 3

Nick is good looking, but he is known for his grumpy personality. He's not interested in girls at all. You can't even count how many girls have given him letters, but he doesn't even accept them. There wasn't rumors of him seeing a girl at all, sure that worries me. I mean I probably look desperate as hell, but I can't help it. He's the one that I want.

Jade, Sasha and I entered our class, Also known as Class F. Everyone was talking with each other until a girl, I presume, noticed my presence.

"Hey! Kaitlin." The whispers began once again. "She told Nick she likes him."

"Shut up! Shush." Jade yelled at them. I was shocked, but I quickly walked to my seat with Sasha --since she sat behind me --the class room was in rows. My row was the one closest to the window. This school was 4 stories tall and surprisingly it hasn't trembled down into remains. It's older than my great grandmother.

"He's 17 years old, there is no way he's not interested in girls. He's just not normal." Sasha stated.

"That's right, I'm sure there are more normal guys in this world that would suit Kaitlin. I mean how great can he be, to have so much attention. I've heard that he's not good in bed," Said Jade.

"Nah, I bet he's still a virgin." Sasha replied, my eyes widened. I've never heard or even thought about that.

"Kaitlin!" I heard a males voice yell, I had an idea of who it was, so I didn't bother yelling back. It's probably our teacher.

"Kaitlin!" He said, I could here his voice clearly this time I was 100% sure it was my friend Keith Park.

"Hey! Kaitlin." I saw him entering the classroom with his two best friends. Jack and Cade.

"Kaitlin! Is it true that you got rejected by Nick?" He said, he was shaking my shoulders like crazy. I'm sure I would break apart soon enough.

"Keith! You're too close." I yelled.

"You like such a nerd?" Keith asked while staring out the window."I'm here by your side." I heard him say. This was getting tiring coming from Keith, he knows I love him as a friend. I make it clear all the time, and he makes me feel bad all the time.

"I'm not yours." I stated

"I baked this for you, this morning. " He said as he clapped his hands twice. I saw Jack holding a metal container while Cade took off the lid.

"Is it your Cinnamon French toast? " He nodded I smiled. I grabbed the fork and took a bite from one, it was delicious, Keith was always good at cooking, a skill I lack.

"Ahh! Thank You." My friends also grabbed one and took a bite.

"You're really quick at changing your mood." Said my friend Sasha.

"It's delicious food." I said

"Well, Keith is good at cooking, at least." Said my friend Jade while grabbing another.

"What do you mean 'at least'," He said "No ones heart can compare to my heart for Kaitlin, even if you're from Class A, or a genius, my heart is much better." I stared at Keith while he was looking at my friends."How dare he reject Kaitlin, I'll take that as a challenge from him." This time he looked at me. "I'm sure he thinks he's the shit."

"It's alright." I said feeling down. " Like all of you say' I was too reckless. Someone who doesn't even read a letter is not good, right?" I tried faking a smile. "I..." My smile was still on. "I guess I'm not good at choosing guys, so it's alright I'm giving up."

"Kaitlin." Keith said while his friends gave him a thumbs up.

I  yawned.

"Really? At this moment." Asked Jade.

"Sorry, I stayed awake over night, I was worried if I misspelled words, he would think I'm stupid; I even looked up the letters of my own name."

"How stupid." Said Jade

"I was nervous." I said to her. " I even skipped breakfast this morning, so Keith thank you." I grabbed the container and pulled it closer to me. "I think I'll be able to survive class with this."

"Kaitlin you look the prettiest when you smile." Said Keith "I can cook for you as much as you want, so cheer up." He said while ruffling my hair. I was fixing my bangs while I ate. Jade and Sasha grabbed another toast and said.
"Tasty!"

"You guys are eating too much."Keith said. Jade and Sasha just made puppy dog eyes. "You guys are cute." Keith said. Jade grabbed syrup and said.

"Sasha let's add some." Sasha nodded

"Of course Kaitlin is cute." Keith said.
