It's become night and we continue to walk. There's hasn't been one building in sight. I haven't spoken to Luke for a few hours.
"Clem, I'm sorry for anything I did back there to have upset you." he says.
"You're fine." I say blushing.
"Are you sure, I don't want to make things awkward." he says.
"Just forget about it." I say.
"Well I'm sorry anyways." he says.
There's an awkward silence, just the sound of a few crickets could be heard.
"I'm scared Luke." I say.
"Come here." he says leaning me in for a hug.
I wrap my arms around his waist, he puts one hand on my head and the other against my back.
"I'm sorry Luke." I say sadly.
"Don't be. There's nothing to be sorry about." he says softly.
"But what I did to Allison..." I say.
"That's in the past now. Clem don't let that get to you." he says.
I sigh.
"Let's get some sleep." he says softly laying out two sleeping bags.

I wake up the next morning. I look over and see Luke sitting on the ground with his face in his hands.
"Luke?"
"I didn't get any sleep last night, I couldn't stop thinking about you." he says.
"What? Why?" I ask
He walks up to me and looks in my eyes.
"I can't do this." He says.
"You're not making any sense Luke." I say.
"I am, you don't understand. You never will." he says.
"You're scaring me." I say.
"There's a place out there, a place with doctors, I heard about it right before I came across you. Its somewhere in Florida I think." he changes the subject.
"That's really far from here. But what were you talking about here this?" I ask.
"That doesn't matter anymore, look we could make it there in about a week." he says.
"But where would we know to look?" I ask.
"We could ask nearby survivors if they've heard of it." he says.
"If there are any left." I grumble.
"Hey, what's up the the negativity?" He asks narrowing his eyebrows.
"I don't know..." I mumble looking away.
"Teenagers.." he says to himself with a chuckle.
I look at the ground while we walk, starting our trip to Florida.
