Arc 3: Chapter 11

Luke stands up off of Trenton panting wiping the blood off of his face.

"Let's go." Luke says walking out of the diner.

Tears run down my face as I quietly cry to myself.

Carl wraps his arms around me as we follow Luke.

"You'll be okay, he's dead now and he can never hurt you again." Carl says softly.

Once we get outside, what we see is absolute hell.

Walkers have overrun this community. They're everywhere.

"How did this happen!?" Luke shouts.

"The gate..." Carl says quietly.

"The hole in the gate?" I question looking to him.

Carl nods his head.

"Oh shit.... AJ! Clem, I want you to meet me outside of the wall! If I'm not there in ten minutes go with out me!" Luke shouts running down the street back to our house.

"Luke!" I cry.

"My dad! Clem I have to go back and find my dad!" Carl shouts.

I follow him down the road dodging walkers as they try to grab us.

We make it to his house and I follow him inside.

"Dad?! DAD!!" Carl shouts worriedly.

We search all the rooms, no ones in the house.

He runs outside screaming "DAAAAAD!!!"

"Carl shut up! You're gonna draw walkers!" I snap.

He runs down the road leaving me in the dust.

"Damn it!" I mumble running after him.

I search the streets, he's no where to be found.

I run back to my house searching for Luke. I check all the rooms, him and AJ are gone.

"Shit."

I run out of the gate. I don't see anyone there either.

"Luke?!.......Carl?!" I shout.

I run back into the community panicking, in search of the two most important people in my life.

"Carl!!" I shout again.

"Clem!!" His voice responds in the distance.

I run towards the sound. I find him boxed in the corner of the large wall with walkers.

"Help me!!" He cries.

I search the area for any weapons. Nothing.

"HEY!! OVER HERE!!" I shout bringing them away from Carl.

"Clem what the hell are you doing!?" He panics.

"OVER HERE!!" I shout clapping my hands causing as much noise as possible.

"Clementine stop!" He cries.

I run further away as the walkers follow me down the street.

Carl escapes but runs back towards me.

"Get out of here!!" I shout.

"No! I'm not leaving you!" He shouts.

"Carl go, I'll be fine. I'll meet you out of the walls in a few minutes!! Let Luke know I'm okay!" I say.

"Come with me!" He shouts.

"I will when there's a clearing! Go, you still have time!" I shout pushing him away. Walkers keep surrounding me, more and more.

Carl gasps and turns ghost white. "Dad..." He slowly backs away from the walker that was once his father.

"GO!" I shout when suddenly a walker grabs my arm and almost bites it.

"I yank my arm back pushing myself through the walkers making my way to Carl.

Outside, I see Luke holding AJ in his arms.

"Luke!" I say giving him a hug sandwiching AJ in between us.

"I thought you two weren't making it out." he sighs.

"Clem... Are you okay?" Luke asks me.

"Yeah im fine, I'll be okay." I say.

"Are you sure?" He asks worriedly.

"Yeah." I say.

"Come on, let's get goin'." Luke announces. I can tell he's pissed I brought Carl with us.

We head into the woods escaping the broken community.
