Gracie's POV

"And this is the backyard!" Lay finishes the tour.

Their backyard wasn't too big or too small either. It had a pool and hot tub! Why doesn't our house have this?

"Ok, so, I guess we're done here." Lay smiles and puts an arm around me. "I think we can start with names."

I heart skips at beat. "What will I call you?"

"You will call me 'Master'." Lay smirks and rests his forehead on mine.

"Uh, really?"

"Ahaha, no I'm just messing with you." Lay starts laughing.

I look down embarrassed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Kung Pao Chicken." Miss Lisa suggests. "Egg rolls or Pot stickers."

"Should I make Korean dishes too?" I ask.

"Kimchi." Lay walks in the kitchen. "Bibimbap, Gimbap, or Jjajangmyeon."

"Oh yeah. I can make those." I smile at Lay. "W-Will I need to go buy the ingredients?"

"Of course not. We have them here." Miss Lisa open the big cabinet by the stove.

"Whoa, that's a lot..." I search through their cabinet in awe.

"Yes, we get that very often." Miss Lisa tells me.

"Ok, let's just get cooking!" I say in excitement.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"That...smells delicious!" Lay look at all the dishes I made.

I smile in relief. "Oh, that's good. I'm pretty nervous about this."

Lay looks up at me. "Why? You've been doing this for awhile now."

I nod. "Yeah, but-"

"THEY'RE HERE!" Miss Lisa calls from the living room.

I gasp. I push Lay out of the kitchen and motion him to go away.

"Oh, what to do, what to do? Ok, just set the table." I begin to clean the table and set out plates. This has always been my favorite part.

I place the glass cups on the table and start filling them with cold water.

"Meet Gracie. She is my maid and also my girlfriend." Lay introduces me to his 6 friends in Korean.

I stop and stand up straight.

"Annyeonghaseyo, mannaseo bangabseubnida." (Hello, Nice to meet you) I say.

One looks at me in awe. I bow to them awkwardly and leave the room.

Lay comes to me and grabs my arm. "Where did you learn Korean?"

"I learned it in school. I often went to South Korea for projects and vacation."

"Wow."

I meet all the friends one by one.

"Nice to see you again!" Chanyeol waves to me. I wave back.

"You met them already?" Miss Lisa asks me.

I turn to Lay, then back at her. "Yes, I met them the day before the interview."

Miss Lisa nods with a confused look still on her face.

I smile shyly at each of them and stick close to Lay.

"Wow, this looks amazing." Kai compliments as he sits down.

The rest nod their head and sit down as well.

"You speak Korean well. By any chance are you Korean?" Suho asks me startling me a bit. They were trying to speak Chinese, but gave up once they heard me speak their language.

"Uh, n-no. I learned in school." I say.

They nod and smile at me.

"Oh, I see Korean dishes here." Baekhyun says. "They all look very nice."

I smile and clap slightly to myself.

As they were eating, I was in the kitchen cleaning up.

"Is Gracie American?" I hear someone ask.

"Actually, I don't know. Now that you mention it because she does have an American name." Lay answers.

I am American. I'm Chinese American.

"Oh, you don't know much about her?"

"We've been dating for only a day now. We also met 2 days ago too."

"It's funny about that too. You are dating your maid that you met 2 days ago."

"This wasn't my idea."

"I see."

I continue to wash dishes trying not to listen to their conversation.

Sehun walks into the kitchen and sees me.

"Oh, Gracie." He whispers. I continue washing pretending I didn't hear him.

"You need some help?" Sehun asks in English. "You done so much work, you should rest."

I think someone told him to do this.

"No, I don't need help. Thanks for your offer." I respond in Korean.
