Chapter Forty Seven

Jennifer

Me and Alex have been staying at this hotel for about a week now. Its not that far away from our Jason's house. It wasn't that expensive either, especially considering how nice the room was. Currently, Alex was playing around on the floor whilst I was watching some TV show. Surpisingly, I heard a knock on the door- I was even more surprised when I saw who it was.

"What the hell do you want?" I spat at him, nothing but venom and hatred in my voice.

"To talk to you and to see my son." He spat back pushing past me. Alex looked up and you coud see his whole face lighten up when he saw Jason.

"Jen I'm sorry."

"Jason you cheated." I said with a tear coming down my face.

"I was drunk I didn't know what I was doing."

"Thats always the excuse." Jason sighed and looked down. "What's worse is the fact that I don't know if its happened before."

"She was the only one." He said.

"I don't know Jason. I want to believe you but something in my head keeps saying your lying."

"Baby listen-"

"I'm not your baby." I cut him off, earning a sigh.

"I know that was the only time that happened. Anna, I don't even care about her. I told her to go as soon as I saw you go. I know I messed up and that I've been a horrible boyfriend and father but please just give me another chance."

"I'll need to think about it." I said, not even contemplating what I was saying.

"Can I stay? To play with Alex." I can't stop him seeing his own son, that's unfair.

"Yeah sure." I said.

"Bye Alex." Jason said kissing Alex on the head.

"Bye Jen."

"Bye." I said barely above a whisper.

"Call me if you need anything."

"How did you find us?" I finally asked him, a question that has been bugging me since he got here.

"I have a tracker in my car incase anyone steals it. I just came here and asked what room you were in." I nodded.

"Bye." I said before shutting the door.





Should I give him another chance?



Jason

I couldn't help but slam my head against the wheel when I arrived home. As I looked up, I noticed an unfamiliar car. Quietly, I opened the door and stepped in.

"Hey Jasey." I heard Anna's annoying voice.

"I told you to get out!" I shouted at her.

"Calm down Jasey, I missed you." Her arms found their way around my neck, but I quickly shoved her off.

"I didn't miss you so get the fuck out of my house!" She groaned and got up.

"I'll stop by another time." She mumbled walking past me. I grabbed her wrist harshly and spun her around.

"I don't ever want to see your face again. If you dare show up I'll kill you with my own bare hands." She gulped and nodded. She quickly hurried out the door. I sighed and sat down on the couch watching some random show.



Please just let Jennifer give me another chance.


Jennifer

Alex was asleep and I was still lying awake on my bed. I was still undecided about Jason. If I did give him a second chance, would he stop going out and getting drunk. I decided to text him.

From: Jen♥

'If I did give you another chance, would you stop going out and getting drunk?'


I got a reply almost instantly.


To: Jen♥
From: Jase♥

'Yes, of course! Please, please give me another chance.'


To: Jase♥
From: Jen♥

'But what happens if Anna shows up again?'


To: Jen♥
From: Jase♥

'Babe, I assure you she won't.'




I didn't reply after that, I should probably just sleep on it. I double checked on Alex and then lay down on my bed and pulled the covers over me.





Should I give him another chance?
