Planning pt. 4

Alex's pov

"Please Raven! Can we get a break?" I begged. We had no breaks, the only one I guess you can call as a break is when she seen some shoes that she wanted and they had a little bench to sit on while you try on shoes.
"No! We need to get everything ready! Who knows when the day will be? Have yall even set a day?"
"I guess it's just gonna happen with it happens." I answered bored.
"Alex cheer up. Most girls dream about this. You just go with the flow...."
"Well I'm not like most girls.....clearly." I said.
"I wish Luke would propose to me. He's so dumb I don't think he will," she laughed.

Max' pov

"Really Luke! You should be the one picking the ring out! Not me!" I argued.
"No. I don't have good taste, besides I don't know how this works anyways. You are going to have to give me a few pointers."
"Well for starters you can pick out your own ring!"
"I see your point but now is not the time." He laughed.
"Just look at all these rings and see which one stands out, which one describes how much you love her."
"Whoa, you really know what you're doing."
"Luke." I said irritated.
"Okay okay fine. Mmmmmm, what about this one, or this one, or that....."
"Okay, pick the top 3."
"Top 25 and we have a deal."
"Top 10, take it or leave it."
"Fine. The ones on this end are very unique, and then these 4 in the middle."
As I continued to help Luke find a ring, he threw in ideas of how he was gonna propose.
"I could like, ask her then we could stay in bed all day. Or should I take her out to dinner?"
"Whichever, I wouldn't do the first option because then she might think that's all you want her for."
"It's not like she doesn't mind it." He rolled his eyes.
"You are the one who knows, her not me." I said giving up.

Alex's pov
"Okay, I had this specially ordered." Raven said coming from the back of the store picking up a dress covered in a black cover.
"I don't know if it's your style but I thought you might like it."
"Thanks." I said, she unzipped the cover and pulled out the most beautiful dress ever.
It had short sleeves made of lace then the chest area was perfect, then as the waist went down it started to changed into a different color; purple, green and blue were faded into each other. Then the very bottom wasn't puffy like most wedding dresses, it was somewhat wavy but fit perfectly and had the right amount of wave or volume to it.
"Raven....its....."I started.
"I know, it's gorgeous, I tried to find something pretty but not as pretty as mine if and when I do get married."
"You did a pretty damn good job." I laughed.
"Okay now go try it on. See if you like it."
"Of course I do. I'll take it." I said eagerly.
"Alright then let's go to the cashier. Now the shoes."
"Darn. Just when I thought it was done."
"You would go insane if you seen how many flowers you have to look at." I shook my head glad that she was the one handling that and not me.
"Luke said to meet up at the Nike shoe store, Max and him are buying a new pair of shoes each." Raven tells me.
"Alright." I said, hanging the dress over my arm as well as some bags of clothes that I caught a quick glimpse of and just bought them, plus Raven and her 30 pounds of bags too.
"Let me help you with that." Luke said to Raven.
"Why didn't you guys call us for help, we wouldn't have minded holding this stuff for yall." Max added.
"Girls rule boys drool." I chanted, "boys aren't the only ones who can be strong."
"I know from experience." Max laughed giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.
"What did you guys get?" Raven asked.
"Some shoes, clothes, max a tux which remind me in the future to never help him with because he is awful."Luke said.
"Same here." Raven added and they both looked at us like we were kids and they were the parents telling us to do everything single step to our lives.
"Whatever, let's go home, I'm beat."
"Me too." Raven added.
"How about we go home and I give you a massage, you seemed stressed." Luke smiled.
"Yeah I am, wedding planning is tiring." Raven said.
"We'll go home, you guys rest and we will do some cooking." Max offered.
"Thank you!" I screamed. I was tired and didn't want to do anything for the rest of the day.
We got in the car and me and Raven were on the verge of falling asleep, but the guys pulled up just in time.
"Here." Max said and grabbed me on his back.
"Yeah I need a piggy back ride because I'm just so tired."
"Hey if I feel like crap for looking a tux I can only imagine how you feel after having half a day with Raven." He laughed.
"Thanks." I mumbled into his neck, he grabbed as many bags as he could and headed up to the hotel. He placed the bags on the counter before gently putting me on the couch.
"There you go, now you relax we have a surprise for you."
"Okay." I said and sat up on the couch, Luke brought Raven in shortly afterwards, both the guys were putting up the stuff in our rooms before saying, "alright girls, go get ready, tonight is special."
I rolled my eyes inside me head, they said 'special' meaning we had to dress up, and get ready and put effort and energy into it.
I took a relaxing shower then browsed through my clothes. I got a pair of black jeans with a thin long sleeve shirt.
"Ready?" Max said coming in the room while I was straightening my hair.
"That's what your wearing?" He asked sort of with an attitude.
"Yeah? Why?" I said looking at him confused through the mirror.
"We said a place special, as in dress nice."
"Are you really gonna get mad at me for not dressing up?"
"Well no but...."
"But what? I'm tired Max, alright. Guys aren't the only ones having to work you now." I rolled my eyes and put the straightener  down to go to the closer. I found a purple and blue dress that I had bought a while ago and completely forgot about it. I took off my shirt and plants and started to slip on the dress.
"I'm not saying that you don't work at all I'm just saying to dress up a little nicer because it's important to Luke and Raven."
"Well then you should have said it a different way." I said a little bit more calmer.
"I know. I'm sorry." He said starting to walk over to me. He hugged me whispering 'I'm sorry' in my ear. I rolled my eyes and said 'it's okay'. Before walking he gave me a kiss and I went back to straightening my hair.
We pulled up to a fancy restaurant, like really fancy and I started to come up with why we were here. Was there something I was not aware of, were we gonna have the wedding here? No way, not now.
"Reservations for the Riggles." Luke said and me and Raven had somewhat of confused but funny face on our faces, Raven and Luke had their own table and Max and I had one a good distance away from them.
"Why are we away from them and why out of all names are 'we the Riggles'?"
"Luke needs to ask Raven something. He thought that was funny." He answered my questions.
