What A Catch (A Patrick Stump Fan Fiction)

It Just Felt Right.

Megan's P.O.V
Oh shit. They have a plan.
This can't go well.
But this is to help Pete, so it can't be that bad.
I walk over to where Patrick, Joe and Andy are sitting discussing the plan,

"How's the plan coming along?" I ask.

"We're done! It's ready to be put into action, lets go!" Joe says and heads to the front door followed by Patrick and Andy.

"What? Now!?"

"Yep"

Great. I don't even know the plan!
I follow them out to Patrick's car and they begin to explain everything as we drive over to Pete's house.

"Right. Your gonna go knock on Pete's door, he's bound to let you in! Then your gonna chat for a bit and make him feel better, okay?" Joe tells me with a smile.

"How am I suppose to make him feel better?"

"That parts up to you!"

"But-"

"We're here!" Joe shouts.

Fuck.
That was quick.
I get out of the car and walk up to Pete's door.
I look back at the car and see all the guys giving me thumbs up.
I weakly smile back and knock on the door waiting for Pete to answer.

Pete's P.O.V
Im lying in bed on twitter when I hear a knock at the door. I actually decide to answer this time, I've been ignoring it for the past day or two since be and Meagan broke up.
I walk down stairs and stop at a mirror to quickly fix up my hair and make myself look presentable -ish.
I open the door to find one of my best friends, Megan. Who is also Patrick's girlfriend...

"I'm not in the mood to talk" I say trying to shut the door again.

"I'm coming in weather or not you like it Pete! We need to talk!"

I decide to let her in. Girls normally no quite a lot about relationships.
We both go upstairs and sit on my bed.

"So what's up?" She asks me as though there's nothing wrong.

"Nothing Megan." Of course she knows exactly what's wrong.

She sighs and looks down at her hands, fiddling about now and then.
I go back to twitter and scroll down my feed. I see a tweet from Patrick off last night,

@PatrickStump: "had an amazing night with my gorgeous girlfriend! Yes I did say girlfriend! You herd it here folks I got myself a lady!;)"

This hurts me even more. Why can't I have a perfect relationship like Patrick's and Megan's?
I'm not jealous.
I'm not.
Maybe a little.
Okay a lot.
I look over at Megan who is still looking at her hands.
She's so beautiful. She's perfect.
She's... taken.
Why am I even thinking that! Her and Patrick are happy together.

"How are things with you and Patrick?" I finally ask.

"Great! He's like the Perfect boyfriend!" She says smiling.

"That's good"

It's not really. Well for me it's not.

Why can't I be Patrick.
I DID NOT JUST THINK THAT!
I don't like Megan, okay! We're just friends. I suppose...

Megan's P.O.V
It's a little awkward talking about mine and Patricks relationship to pete.
I mean he's just recently broken up with his girlfriend.
But he doesn't seam to mind.
We go back to sitting in silence.
I begin to text Patrick,

Me: Help!:(

Patrick: What's wrong babe?x

Me: it's so awkward!x

Patrick: try your best okay?x

Me: I am x

"Uh Megan?" Pete says.

I look up from my phone screen to notice Pete's really really close to me.

"Yeah pete?"

"I...I think... I'm in love with you"

Before I could reply his lips are placed onto mine.
I quickly pull away and slap him.

"WHAT THE FUCK PETE!?"

"Ummm... I don't know! It just felt right!"

"OH SO IT'S OKAY TO KISS YOUR BEST FRIENDS GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE YOU FELT LIKE IT!? WHAT THE FUCK MAN!"

"I'm sorry"

"I'm leaving!"
