"Mom it's your birthday, not right now." Drake said trying to change her attention.

"Aubrey I know that, but I would like to know what happened. Because no bad news about you two has come to my phone." She said getting out of the car and holding onto Drake's hand.

Drake frowned. "The Google alerts? I thought I took those off your phone!"

Sand walked with her arm linked with his. He grabbed the door nob of the restaurant and pulled it allowing his mother in before him. "You did. But I had Ryan put them back on." She simply said. Drake sighed and rolled his eyes at his cousin's doings. "It's how I keep up with everything. Although Tae is better at texting me than you are."

Drake stopped walking and turned to his mother. "You talk to Tae on a regular basis?"

"Yes Aubrey, you know that. She lets me know you're ok." Sandi confessed walking past him and hugging everyone. The second night at Frings was no different than the other. This time less of Drake's friends and more of family and friends of the family.

"You've talked to her the last few weeks?" Drake asked being nosey. Sandi nodded her head up and down. "What she say?" Sandi didn't say she knew anything about the standing of her son and Tae's relationship but knowing Sandi she probably did know but was just waiting for Drake to confess it personally.

"She's been very busy, she's just so beautiful, I love seeing her modeling photos." Sandi clearly wasn't paying attention to the conversation, nor did she know about Tae and Drake.

"Did she say anything about me and her?" Drake asked looking down at her.

"Her and I." She corrected her son. Sandi may have been a retired school teacher but that didn't stop her from correcting anyone's grammar. "And, not everything is about you all the time Aubrey." She finally waved him off and walked away.

" She finally waved him off and walked away
