A prayer he asked for once

It was the time of the sakura again, the pink petals flows and flies softly in the wind. It was your favorite season of the year but this year you were not about to enjoy it to the fullest. You the priestess of the north have drawn weak after the years or protection of the mountain. As A god you cannot die but you can be part of the mountains again, dying is disappearing but becoming one with the mountain is something you can do and live to protect the people dear to you.

AS you smiled at the flowers who wish you more happiness, stands your familiar with white hair " Mizuki" your loyal familiar, guardian and your lover, it was hard for him to accept that he might lose you any time soon but he knows it was your duty to protect the mountains. He has loved you with his all and the years you were the same he was really happy, but the anxiety of losing someone der to him or losing the love of his life is something he is not yet ready to deal with. He watched you as your hair grow white, as you pale skins turn gray and as your shinning eyes turn dull. It was painful for him but he decides to stay beside you.

Another petal falls on your hand, you picked it up and whispered something on it a incantation to begin a dance for your lover, a performance of the flowers for the love of your live. Mizuki sees the flowers floats both of you, as he felt the familiar warmth of your hands on his, he turns to look at you and he smiled he had love your warmth and he had loved you always. He was afraid to lose you he was afraid to be alone and he was afraid to be left out. He had loved you and it was not fair for you to be gone.

As the flowers disappears you took hold of his hands, you know you were about to be gone right now, you smiled at him and held his hand tightly kissing his cheek his nose and lastly his lips. Ohh you will miss his lovely eyes, his beautiful voice and his warmth. You wanted to stay, you wanted to be with Mizuki forever but it cannot be like that, you need to fulfill your duty and Mizuki knows this. But it was painful. You smiled at him as you hugged him tight

y/n: " Mizuki? Do you remember when you first confess your feelings to me?, it was the festival of the flowers and I was so happy" you smiled

Mizuki: " yes I ca remember it clearly" he smiled as he hugged you tight, he know it was about time to let go

y/n:" you are the best thing that happens to me, and I love you so much. Thank you for everything and every time you had love and helped me you are the only love I will ever remember and bear until the rest of my life" you placed your hand on his cheeks

Mizuki was trying to hold his tears down, he cannot show how fragile he was not in front of you, he will endure it so you will not have to be bother and be in pain in his stand. He smiled and holds your hand as he smiled at you

y/n: " everything that happens in the last 20 thousand years was the best I can ask, because I have you" you kissed his hand

Mizuki :" it was the same to me, you were the best thing that happens to me and you will stay in my heart until I die" he smiled sadly

y/n: " Thank you, It' time Mizuki" you sadly let go of his hand " I love you so much please take care" you stepped back at him

Mizuki: his tears streams down his lovely cheeks, his eyes began to water and the water illuminates his pink cheeks, he was crying in front of you he can no longer hold his feelings, he was not ready to let you go he was not ready to be alone he needed and he wanted you. This breaks your heart, one thing you never like is when he cried. It was painful but you need to go

y/n: " Mizuki, I had live a long life because of you and I owe you my life that, thank you for giving me reasons to smile and be alive. I love you" as you kissed his head, you began to glow

Mizuki: " no don't leave me don't go I need you I wanted you to stay, I cannot leave without you, I don't want to live without you in my side" and there his feelings burst out, it was painful to see him like this.

y/n: " Mizuki, I will not leave you I will be always in your heart" you smiled as you continue to glow and turns transparent, your time was almost up almost gone " I love you Mizuki and I will always be with you forever" with that you vanish with the flowers. Mizuki was shocked and his tears continue to stream down his cheeks, it was painful, too painful for him, he cried that whole day and that whole night. It was the only thing he can do cry.

That night, the flower petals dance for him reminding him that you were not gone but not physically available, he had learned to accept he cannot have you right not but you will always be with him and from there he started to smile again. From there you smiled at from where you were looking at him you were happy for him and so you had loved him more.
