You walked through the corridor the day after you went to Hogsmeade. You moved your hand through your hair and read a letter you got from your mother.

Dear Y/N,

I hope everything is alright there! Are you still enjoying Hogwarts? How are your classes?

Of course we miss you this Christmas but I hope you have lots of fun there with your friends! Hermione, Ron, Harry and Neville sound really nice! Can't wait to meet them.

You should let this Draco-kid get to you! You're special Y/N, he just can't take it that you got in by pure by talent! You don't have dirty blood, don't listen to him to much dear!

Your father is also doing fine and Evi as well. We can't wait to hear your stories!

'Well well, looked who it is.'

You looked up and saw Draco. You sighed and folded up the letter. 

'Listen Malfoy, I'm very sorry for pushing you. I don't want to do that but you asked for it.' You said.

'Sure Y/L, you think I'm going to believe a filthy mudblood like you?'

You bit your lip and tried to control the anger you got when he called you that. You held the letter of your mother tightly.

'And what's that?' Draco asked while taking it right out of your hand.

'Non of your concern! Give it back Malfoy!' You hissed.

He opened it and you tried to get it from him. You pushed him again and the letter dropped to the ground. 

'Do you think that funny?!' He asked before pushing you, causing you to fall.

You landed on the hard floor with a growl of pain. You tried to reach the letter but Draco stepped with his foot on your hand causing you to let out a painful scream while tears jumped in your eyes. He grabbed the letter from the floor and you reached for your wand.

'Stupify!' You hissed causing him to fly backwards through the corridor.

You got up and ran towards him. He was unconscious. You grabbed your letter from his hand and ran out of the corridor. You couldn't believe you just did that.

There went all your principles. You hated violence and you just knocked out a guy! You looked at your hand which had some marks of his shoe in there. It hurt quite bad. You sighed and shoved your wand back into the inner pocket of your robes. Then you moved your hand through your hair. Neville and Lizzie walked towards you and you passed them a small smile.

'Hi Y/N!' Neville smiled.

'Hi guys.'

'What's up? You looked stressed.'

'Nothing... just... I used Stupify on Malfoy.' You sighed.

'You did what?! You can get detention for that!'

'I know.' You sighed.

'Why did you do it?' Lizzie asked.

You held up the letter and your hand. Neville grabbed your hand and moved his hand passed it. Small bruises were already visible on your hand.

'He has strong feet.'

'This is his shoe print?! What happened?'

'He wanted to read the letter my parents wrote me. I told them about him and I didn't want him to know. Then I pushed him and the letter fell, he pushed me, I tried to reach it and he stepped on my hand with his shoe and I hurt so bad I used Stupify to get him of.'
