71 ~ the boat house

The fire surrounded you. You felt the heat around you. Was this how you were going to die? You couldn't die! You had to get Draco to the right side! You wanted to spend more time with your parents, get married!

Then in the distance you saw Harry Ron and Hermione.. on broom! Hermione took Goyle and Harry rescued Draco. Ron flew over to you. You reached out to him and jumped on his broom. You held him tightly as he flew out of the room.

You were outright on time. You crashed together with Harry and Draco. You rolled across the floor and got to a stop against the wall. You got up and wanted to talk to Draco but he was already gone. Ron immediately hugged you. You smiled and hugged him back.

'Thank you.' You said while holding him tightly.

'Thank God your okay.. they didn't kill you.. You're safe here.. Well safe..'

'I'm so glad I'm here. I'm so glad to see you.'

Hermione ran into the room as well. Ron let you go and hugged her. Harry made his way to you.

'We should go.'

You nodded and followed Harry. You ran through the corridors. Most of the walls were broken down. The first corridors were quiet but when you past the stairs cases there were death eaters everywhere. You had to jump aside and even knock out some people.

You managed to get outside. There were even more people there. You were cornered it by two death eaters. You both took on one. You casted stupefy but missed. You blocked his expelliarmus and tried to cast it back him.

You didn't know how it happened but he managed to get your turned around. He grabbed you by the neck and started dragging you away.

'HARRY!' You yelled.

But he was busy fighting his own battle. You tried to push his arms away but you couldn't. You tried to kick and punch but he wouldn't let you go. You didn't have your wand away. It was on the ground near Harry.

'Let her go.. or I'll kill you.' Someone said with a calm but threatening voice.

You looked up and saw Draco. He grabbed your wand. He had his mother's wand pointed at the death eater.

'Are you betraying your own kind?' The death eater asked.

'You can have anyone but here. Let her go.' He hissed.

'You can't be serious.' The death eater laughed.

He still refused to let you go. Draco sighed to you that you had to duck. You nodded and bit the death eaters hand before ducking down.

'Stupefy!'

The death eater flew backwards. Draco turned to Harry and blasted the death eater away that he was fighting. You ran over to Draco. He pushed his wand into your hand and held you back.

'Go.' He said.

'Draco..' You said while trying to get closer to him.

'Go what are you-'

You then managed to hug him. Draco stopped and hugged you back.

'I thought we were going to die.' You mumbled in his chest.

Draco kissed the top of your head and you let him go. You kissed him shortly.

'You have to go and fight your own battle Y/N.'

'You promised you-'

'I have to go.' Draco said.

You sighed and made your way to Harry.

'Malfoy..'

Draco turned back.

'Thank you for saving me from that death eater.'

'Please finish this.' Draco just said before running off.

'Where are we going?' You asked Harry.

'We have to find Voldemort.' Harry said.

He started running towards another part of the castle. He was aproaching the boat house. You walked down the stairs quietly. Was the dark Lord hiding in there? Harry signed at you that you had to stay quiet. Ron and Hermione were right behind you two.

'You have performed extraordinary magic with this wand, my lord. This in the last few hours alone.' Your heard Severus speak.

You held your wand tightly and glanced inside. Snape and Voldemort were both inside.

'No... no... I am extraordinary and the wand resists me.' Voldemort said.

You looked through the green painted glass. They were standing at a good distance and you had a prefect view. Weren't you going to go inside?

'There is no wand more powerful... tonight when the boy comes, it will not fail you. I'm sure of it.' Severus spoke.

Voldemort stared at him for a while. It was quiet.. an awkward silence.

'It answers to you... and you only.' Severus added.

'Does it?' Voldemort asked.

'My lord...' Severus spoke.

'The wand doesn't truly answer to me... you're a clever man Severus... surely you must know.'

Voldemort walked a circle around him. You looked at the others. No one seemed to be willing to go inside.

'But where does it's true loyalty lay?'

'With you of course... my lord.' Severus answered.

'The elder wand... The wand can't serve me properly because I am not it's true master. The elder wand belongs to the wizards who killed it's last owner... you killed Dumbledore Severus.'

Was he going to kill Snape? No way.. no way..

You swallowed and took hold of the wall. You wand almost broke because of your grip.

'You've been a good and faithful servant, Severus... but only I can live for ever.'

He was going to kill him. Snape was going to die. You hated him a little but you never wanted him to do.

'My lord...' you heard Severus say.

A spell hit him and you saw him fell against the window you were looking at. You almost fell back in which.

'Nagini... kill.' You heard Voldemort speak.
You heard the snake slamming and biting into Severus.

Then it stopped. You stopped and slowly got up. You made your way inside and stopped at the horrific scene.

Harry hurried over to him and you join his side. Harry tried to close a big wound on his neck. Snape started crying..

'Take them... take them.' Severus spoke to you. 'Please..'

He pointed at his tears.

'Give me something. Quickly!' You said.

Hermione past you a bottle. You caught his tears and gave them to Harry. You got up and made you way to Hermione and Ron. Harry handed you the bottle back so you could pass it back to Hermione. When you looked back you heard Snape say:

'You have your mother's eyes..'

Before he past away. Harry got up. He took a deep breath.

Suddenly your head started hurting. You closed your eyes. You had no idea what was going on. You heard a high pitched beep. You closed your ears and tried to make it go away.

'You've fought valiantly, but in vain...'

Voldemort... harry looked outside and you tried to keep your ear covered.

'I do not wish this. Every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I, therefore command my forces to retreat. In their absence, dispose your dead with dignity.'

'Harry Potter, I now speak directly to you... on this night, you have allowed your friends to die for you, rather than face me yourself. There is no greater dishonor. Join me in the Forbidden Forest and confront your faith.'
