You're sitting in a bar with Dean and Sam after finishing up a hunt. You lean against Dean. He keeps trying to kiss you, but you're too tired to move your head head to aid him, so he just gets your ear or your cheek, depending on how far he moves his head.
You see a drunk man slap a woman, and you're out of your seat in a flash.
"You little bitch!" He's yelling at her, and she's cowering away.
You march over, spin him around and slug him, sending him reeling back. "Do you wanna fucking repeat that?" You scowl.
"Who the hell are you?" He asks, putting a hand to his bleeding mouth.
"I can be your worst nightmare if you don't adjust your behavior."
"Oh, you're asking for it--" He begins.
You leave him unconscious on the floor.
You hold out your hand to the girl. "Come on, get up. You have a ride?" You ask.
She takes your hand and picks herself up off the floor. She nods slowly.
"You need my phone?"
She nods again.
You offer your phone and she dials.
She hands it back when she's done. "Thanks." She says quietly.
"Sure. Let me know if he bothers you again, and I'll drop his ass." You say, turning to walk away.
"Wait." She says.
You turn back around.
"Will you wait with me?"
You nod and follow her out.
"Hot damn." Dean says, watching you.
"Yeah." Sam agrees.
"Remind me not to piss her off."
"Yeah." Sam agrees, staring at the door you've just walked out of.
"Dude, that was hot as hell."
"Yeah." Sam nods.
"Can you get a cab?"
"Yeah."
Once she gets picked up, you go back inside to Sam and Dean.
"Hey." You say.
"Hey." The both say, looking at you with wide eyes.
"Y'all okay?"
"Hell yeah." Dean says.
"I'm gonna catch a cab." Sam says, gets up, and walks away.
"What? Why don't you just ride with Dean? Sam?" You ask, but he's gone.
"That was weird, wasn't it?" You ask, sitting back down. "What's wrong with him? Did you two get in an argument those ten minutes I was--"
Dean kisses you, standing. "Let's go back to the motel."
"What--"
"Come on."
"I'm not done with my beer."
He kisses you again. "There's beer at the motel."
"Dean--"
He slaps a twenty on the counter and kisses you again. "C'mon, babe."
"You saw me beat the hell out of that guy, right? Are you not concerned?"
"Oh, I saw it all right. Come have sex with your boyfriend."
"But--"
He kisses you roughly. "I love you."
"I know." You smile, standing.
He grabs your hand and half pulls you out. "You know, we could go parking."
"I'm not classy, but I'm far classier than that. I don't think so. Let me drive."
"But Baby--"
"You've been drinking."
"So've you."
"Not as much as you."
He tosses you the keys. "I'm fine." He tells you.
"Why're you both acting so weird? I fight all the time."
"Yeah, but generally we're fighting too. This time we got front row seats."
"I didn't know beating people up was a turn on." You laugh.
"Oh, no. It is. Even Sammy agreed."
"Ah, so that's why you like Black Widow."
It's his turn to laugh. "Nah, babe, you're way better."
"Because I'm a real life girl who'll have sex with you, and she's way out of your league?"
"No, babe, you're way out of my league."
You get back to the motel and get out. You turn to Dean and say from the other side of the car, "Dean, I love you."
You say it quickly, scared of his reaction. You give him a timid smile.
His previous so-help-me-God look of determination is replaced with a sweet, soft little smile.
He says nothing, just starts walking inside.
You follow him with a sigh. You should have known better than to tell Dean Winchester you loved him.
He sweeps you up bridal style and carries you into the dark motel room.
He doesn't bother turning on the light, just walks over to a bed and tosses you down. He lays beside you, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close. He puts his head down in the crook of your neck.
"What? No sex anymore?" You ask.
"I just wanna be with you." He mumbles into your neck.
"What changed your mind?"
"You."
"Well, thanks." You say sarcastically.
"That's not what I meant." He smiles before pulling his head back and reaching up, turning you to face him, kissing you. "You ruined it with your innocence."
"What part of tonight was innocent?" You wonder aloud.
"You and your sweet little smile." He kisses you again. "I love you."
"I love you too."
He smiles and pulls away, leaning back. "Man, I love you, Y/N."
"I love you too." You repeat.
"Nah, don't do that."
"Why not?" You raise your eyebrows.
"I'm not worth it."
"Bullshit, Dean." You sigh.
"I'm not. Your affection would be better directed somewhere else."
You turn to look at him.
"No, don't leave! Not yet." He says, tightening his hold.
"Where else do you suggest I direct my affection?"
"I dunno. Someone who doesn't keep you up at night with nightmares of Hell. Someone who doesn't wake you up at night with nightmares about his own father."
"I don't mind those things."
He kisses you again. "Yes you do. I know you do."
"Which is it that you mean, Dean? Your actions or your words?"
"Both. I'm sorry."
"For?"
"Everything."
"What's going on, babe?"
"I just wanted to get everything out in the open before..."
"Before what?"
"Before I asked you to marry me."
