Kevin dropped me off at my house and I went up to my room. He had no right to forcefully out me on a motorcycle. Maybe I should text Nate or something. Wait I can't, because they stole my phone. I flopped onto my bed, annoyed and frustrated. I had a stupid fractured arm which would take a few more weeks to heal, a cut up leg that had stitches a brother in a hospital and people were after my phone. And not to mention I was tutoring a bad boy. Why did I think anything other than bad could come from that? I lifted a pillow to my face and let out a banshee scream.

"Sweetie are you okay?" My mom asked running into my room.

" Yeah, why? " I replied throwing the pillow to the side and sitting up.

"I heard you scream."

"Oh yeah. Um I'm just happy that in the book I am reading, the two characters finally got together, " I lied, fake smiling. My mom nodded and walked out.

I looked at my clock and saw that it was only 5:00. Kevin was picking me up at 6:30 so... Naptime! I collapsed on my bed and fell asleep.

KEVIN POV

Don't you guys feel bad about lying to her? -Zack

It's for her own good -James

I think this is ridiculous. She should meet Charlie and sort the whole thing out, so we don't have to keep lying -Keith

And for what? Once she is involved in this she is stuck -Zack

She is already involved -Keith

She should stay in the dark -James

She has to find out at some point -Kevin

Or we could give back her phone and act like she is crazy -Zack

Zack that's ridiculous -James

I am just giving ideas -Zack

I think we should give her phone back and just tell her -Keith

I agree with Keith -Kevin

I object -Zack

I still think she should be in the dark -James

We have to talk about this with the gang and see what they say -Kevin

I put my phone away and flopped back onto my bed. It was 5:30. One more hour until I had to pick her up.

RACHEL POV

"Rachel! It's 6:20, don't you have to go to a dinner?" I heard my dad yell from downstairs. I shot out of bed, alert and in a frenzy. 6 :20? And they thought 10 minutes before was a good time to wake me up? I scrambled around my room room to grab light blue jeans, a black sweater and a white shirt. Hopefully it was good enough. I grabbed my hairbrush and braided my hair. No time for doing anything nice.

KEVIN POV

I walked up to her door and knocked twice.

"Hello, you must be the boy my daughter is tutoring," a man, who I am assuming must be her dad said opening the door.

" yes sir, " I answered formally. Might as well try to make a good impression.

"Make sure she doesn't get hurt," he said sternly. I nodded my head and then I saw Rachel appear behind him. She looked pretty cute for someone who is always hiding in a hoodie.

" Don't worry dad, you can beat him up if I get hurt, " Rachel said in a teasing tone. He ruffled her hair and she walked out.

"Be safe," he called before disappearing inside.
