RACHEL POV
The next day I was distracted. Nate was talking to someone about something that was serious, and clearly important, which was fine. The reason I was distracted I was waiting at the school library for Keith and Zack.
Hey is it ok if I join :) -Jared
Sure -Rachel
About five minutes later Zack walked in and Jared followed behind him.
"Hey guys," I said.
"Hey Rachel, " Zack smiled. He pulled out the chair next to me and say down while Jared sat across from me.
"Where is Keith?" I asked.
"Uh, I don't know," Zack said.
"Why don't we wait for him?" Jared suggested.
We sat there for about 15 minutes until Zack's phone buzzed.
"Well, Keith ain't coming. I just got a text, he had a family emergency," Zack said. "Why don't the three of us just hangout then?"
" Sounds fine with me, " Jared replied.
"Sure. What do you two want to do?" I asked.
"Why don't we go to Rios?" Zack said after a minute of thought.
" Sure. who is driving? " I asked. "Obviously you two, but who am I going with."
"You are with me," Zack said. Jared nodded and we all walked out. Jared drove off in his car while I got onto Zack's motorcycle.
"so what's the deal with you and Jared?" Zack asked.
"What do you mean?" I replied as he revved up his bike.
" have you two had sex yet? " he asked hiding his laughter.
"One, I haven't even had my first kiss. Two, focus on driving. Three, I have not done the frick frack," I said.
He stopped at a red light, turned and looked at me.
"Frick frack? Is that your way of saying sex? God you are too innocent," Zack said. He put his hand up and brushed a strand of hair out of my face.
"Um, the light turned green," I muttered. He smiled and me and turned back around and started driving again. Fifteen minutes later he pulled into the lot of Rios.
"Hey what took you guys so long? I thought you guys would be right behind me, but I got here like 8 minutes ago," Jared said, walking towards us.
"I took some back roads, thought they would be faster," Zack replied. I climbed off the bike and stood there awkwardly.
"Well, should we go in, or are we going to stand in the parking lot for the next hour?" I said breaking the silence. Jared and Zack nodded and the three of us walked into the diner.
"Yo, table for three," Zack said.
"Seat yourself man, you know the drill dumb ass," the person said.
"Fuck off Paul," Zack laughed.
"Hold up. What is a pretty lady like you doing with these two? " Paul asked.
"You heard him Jared, answer him," I said before putting my hand over my mouth. Paul and Zack started laughing while Jared pouted.
"Well in case you are wondering, I am quite gorgeous but you're not my type," Jared said.
"Alright let's go," Zack said and Paul walked off. We went to an open booth and sat down, Zack and I on one side while Jared sat across from us.
"Well I am gonna get the mozzarella sticks. What about you two," Zack said.
" Onion rings, " I said putting the menu down.
"I am going to get fries," Jared smiled.
"Alright what can I get you three? Zack I already know its mozzarella sticks for you," Paul asked.
"I'll get the fries," Jared answered.
"Onion rings."
"Alright your orders shouldn't take that long," Paul laughed as he walked away. 5 minutes later the food came out and we all dug in.
"Alright, Jared my man. I am sorry. We got off on the wrong foot. Re-do?" Zack said.
"It's all good," Jared grinned and they did a fist bump.
Come outside, alone -GG
Tell the others and one of your friends dies -GG
Or Aiden will die -GG
"I'll be right back, I just need some fresh air," I said standing up.
"Alright we will be here when you get back," Jared said. I walked out of the diner and into the parking lot.

I felt something hit the back of my head and I fell forward. I was overtaken by the darkness and lost consciousness.
