Threats and Apologies

Josh ran a hand threw his hair as he knocked on the door to Farkle's dorm room not expecting to see Maya and Simon. Simon got up from the bed him and Maya were sitting on and opened the door shocked to see Josh standing on the other side.

"Oh um, I was looking for Farkle." Josh said as he looked up at Simon and then over his shoulder to see Maya.

"I think he's hanging out with Zay for the day." Simon said as he looked back at Maya watching her facial expression and then back at Josh.

"Did he say where he was hanging out with him at? It's kind of important." Josh said trying to keep his gaze on Simon but kept looking back at Maya.

"He said something about going to see a movie after his last class was over and that was about two hours ago. You might try Lucas and Zay's dorm room." Simon answered. Josh kept him self from giving Simon a glare at the fact that Simon knew more about Maya's friends then he did.

Suddenly Maya got up from her seat and grabbed her stuff putting it in her bag. Both boys turned to look at her while she put her bag on her shoulder.

"I should get going. Riley wanted to watch a movie tonight before bed. Thanks for the help Simon." Maya gave both Simon and Josh a fake smile and then walked past them heading out the door. Josh watched after her while Simon looked at the floor and cleared his throat making Josh look up at him.

"You're really hurting her." Simon snapped with a glare creeping up on his face. Josh looked taken back.

"Excuse me?" He asked slightly offended. Simon rolled his eyes and walked back into his room leaving the sort opened for Josh.

"Dude, you can't be that stupid. First you broke off your "someday" for a total slut." Simon started out with putting quotation marks on someday. Josh glared at him and took a step towards him. "Then you tell her you still have feelings for her after you find out she's trying to move on from you. Next you refuse to break up with your fiancé and prove to her that you still like her and now, now you're just being a douche bag." Simon finished glaring at Josh.

"Look man, I have never had a problem with you. But if you keep on running your mouth like that I might just have to shut it." Josh threatened making Simon laugh sarcastically.

"Never had a problem with me, yeah that's a lie. You had a problem with me the minute I befriended Maya. You had a problem with me the moment you realized that she could actually move on to someone that could treat her way better than you ever could." Josh scoffed.

"Treat her better. You are the biggest player at this school, Walkers! And it will be over my dead body before I let you make Maya another one of your victims!" Josh yelled at him.

"That can be arranged!" Simon snapped as he got into Josh's face. Suddenly somebody got in between them and pushed them apart.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Farkle said as looked at both guys wide eyed. "You two need to chill the whole hall can hear you!" Josh swallowed hard and took his gaze off of Simon to look at Farkle.

"Farkle when you get the chance come by my dorm. We need to talk." And with that being said, Josh turned around and walked out of the room slamming the door behind him.

"What was that about?" Farkle asked. Simon took a deep breath and shook his head.

"The guys an idiot. He doesn't realize what he has right in front of him." Farkle swallowed hard and looked at the door then back at Simon.

"Hopefully that will change soon."

Maya sighed as she walked into her room and closed the door. She threw her bag on her bed and looked up to see Riley already in there room.

"You ready to watch the movie?" Maya asked as she pushed her way past Riley to the small tv in their room.

"Actually I was hoping we could talk." Riley whispered. Maya laughed bitterly and turned around.

"It seems that every time I hear those words it turns out horrible for me." Riley slightly smiled.

"Maya things between us have been horrible. Most of the time we avoid each other and sometimes when we do talk it's more of casual 'how ya doing'. I hate it! I want my best friend back." Riley spoke her voice breaking. Maya's posture softened as she sighed and sat down on the bed.

"I miss you too. This whole thing with Josh and Simon has been really stressing me out and I just... It's hard getting over someone you think you love that doesn't love you back." Riley hesitantly walked over and sat down beside Maya on the bed.

"I'm really sorry, Maya. I have been so obsessed with getting you and Josh on good terms that I lost sight of what truly mattered, our friendship. Then when I heard what Simons reputation was like I just, I didn't want you getting hurt."

"I'm sorry too. I should have never yelled at you. I should have sat down and listen to what you had to say. I just wish you guys could get to know Simon and learn than he's not like that anymore. He's a great guy and he's helping me through a lot."

"You're right. He's important to you and we should give him a chance." Maya smiled at Riley.

"Seriously? You're actually going to give him a chance for me?" Riley smiled and nodded her head.

"If he means that much to you then yes. Anybody that you think is worth giving a chance is worth it to me too." Maya smiled even bigger. "Thunder." Riley put her hand up that had her ring on it.

"Lightning." Maya linked their hands together and then pulled Riley into a big hug. "I love you Riles." Riley hugged her tighter.

"I love you too. Now common let's watch that movie." Both girls smiled as things quickly got back to normal between the two.
