Morgana's Point of View
"Aw Marcus, you're sweet too. But are you parents okay with me staying here?"
"Don't worry Morgana, I have all of that figured out already. You can stay here as long as you need to, okay? Don't worry about a thing,I got it all figured out." I smiled.
"Thanks Marcus." It means a lot to me that a stranger I just met yesterday is letting me stay in their house. It's already way better than home. I haven't heard any screaming at each other and I haven't been hit yet. I liked this place already.
"So, do you want anything to eat? Anything at all? We can have pancakes, cereal, muffins, you name it, and we can have it." He said to me.

Nobody has ever been this nice to me. Or at least nobody since Anna. She was my other half, she completed my life. But she has been gone for a while now, so I was used to it.

"Sure. I will have whatever you're having." I'm not very picky, and these people are letting me stay with them, I'm grateful enough for that. I don't need any fancy breakfast. Or fancy anything at all.
"Oh okay. How does pancakes sound?" He asked me. I know he probably wouldn't usually eat pancakes and that he was only offering to be nice. I couldn't refuse though. Pancakes sounded really good, especially after not eating for a few days.

We went downstairs and we saw his brother in the kitchen making something. I wasn't sure what it was but it smelled really good.

"Hey Martinus. This is Morgana." Marcus directed his gaze to me. His eyes were unforgettable. They shone like the stars, but were a dark hazel that you could wander for hours.
"Hey Morgana," I heard Martinus say. I was so lost in Marcus' eyes that I didn't register that Martinus had said hi. It was a few seconds later when I snapped out of it.
"Hi Martinus." I responded back with. He smirked and went back to making whatever he was making.

Marcus brought me into the living room. "Martinus is making pancakes for all of us."
"Okay, thanks." I didn't need anything to eat. These people gave me a place to stay. Marcus gave me his bed last night. I wasn't expecting anymore.  Marcus turned on the tv and got out his phone.
"I think I will go shower. If that's okay.." I said to Marcus.
"Yeah that's okay, I will show you where the towels are." We went upstairs and he got me a towel. I went to Marcus' room and grabbed some fresh clothes. I was in such a rush to grasp my things, I only packed two extra outfits. I would have three outfits to wear, but since I slept in the woods, my one outfit was too dirty to wear. My hair also needed to be washed. Maybe my arms and legs could have a good wash too. I quickly showered and went downstairs.

I got downstairs and everyone was sitting at the table. By everyone, I mean Marcus, Martinus and a little girl. There was two other chairs, probably for their parents. I took one and sat down. There was already a plate set for me.

"Take as much as you want. We can make more if we have to." Marcus said as he pushed the plate of pancakes over to me. They were chocolate chip, my favourite. I grabbed a few pancakes. The last time I had them was with Anna.

**Flashback**

"Anna! Morgana! Come for breakfast!" Mom shouted to us. Anna and I were only 6 at the time. We were upstairs running after each other, playing tag. "Anna! Morgana! Come down! I made your favourite!" Mom's voice raised a bit when she said favourite. It didn't take much convincing.
"Come on Morgey! Let's go eat!" Anna shouted to me. Only Anna ever called me Morgey, its because when we were little, she couldn't pronounce Morgana. Anna and I ran downstairs. We rushed to the kitchen table.
Our dad was at work, this was only a few months before my dad lost his job and became an alcoholic.  At this time my dad and I still had fun together. Going to the movies with Anna every Tuesday, on the matinee night. We would all share a large popcorn and Anna and I would giggle throughout the whole movie.
We were at the table and our mom was teasing us.
"Are you sure you want your breakfast?" She laughed.
"Yes!" Anna and I would both shout.
"Are you sure that you're sure?"
"Yes we're sure that we're sure!"
"Okay..." Mom said and me and Anna were squirming in our seats. When Mom brought over our breakfast, she had it covered with a paper towel. I lifted off the paper towel and Anna and I both gasped.
"Chocolate chip pancakes!!" We both screamed and immediately grabbed a few and put them on our plates.

**End of flashback**

"Hello? Earth to Morgana?" I heard Marcus say. I snapped out of the flashback. I felt that my cheeks had little streaks of water. As if I was crying. I looked at Marcus. "Are you okay? You had tears falling from your eyes." I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't speak. I miss Anna so much.
"I'm not very hungry anymore." Was all I could whisper before going upstairs. When I got there, I opened my bag and grabbed all the pictures I brought. I was flipping through the glass frames. I got to one that made me cry. It was a picture of me and Anna when we were little and we were hugging each other.
"Morgana? Are you okay?" I looked up to see Marcus standing in the doorway. How long has he been standing there?

Marcus' Point of View
I was sitting at the table with Martinus and Emma when Morgana came downstairs. She looked like she had been thinking about something for a while. I patted the seat where we set the table for her. When she got there and sat down, I offered her pancakes.
"Take as much as you want. We can make more if we have to." I said and handed her the plate of pancakes. Martinus had made them, for all of us. She looked at the plate of pancakes and kinda zoned out. We decided to leave her alone and eat. I was eating my pancakes and I looked up at Morgana. She had tears rolling down her cheeks and dripping off her chin.
"Hello? Earth to Morgana?" I said and when she snapped out of whatever she was thinking about, she got up and left. I heard her say that she had lost her appetite.
"I will go talk to her." I said and left the table. I got upstairs and my door was slightly open. I stood there and looked through the door. I watched Morgana get out old photos and start crying.
"Morgana, are you okay?" I asked her and walked over to her. She was looking at a photo of twins. They looked a lot like her. She was still crying so I rubbed her back and tried to comfort her.

Morgana's Point of View
Marcus walked over to me. I was going to try and hide the photos but it was no use. He had to find out about Anna sooner or later. He just rubbed my back and tried to comfort me. We sat there like that for about 5 minutes. He must have really cared about me, as he stayed there with me for as long as I needed. He deserves to know about Anna.
