What do you mean?

Marcus' Point of View
Everyone in the car could see the stress and worriedness on my face.

"We need to go to the hospital." were the only words I managed to say. The doctor sounded really urgent on the phone.

Dad immediately turned the car around and started driving home. Nobody asked me any questions. I could tell Anna was terrified but Martinus was holding her hand making sure she felt better. Anna started texting someone. She told Martinus and I that she was keeping a childhood friend informed on Morgana and how she was doing.

**half an hour later**

We finally reached the hospital. We were trying to get here as fast as possible but where we were looking for Morgana's dad was really far away. I rushed into the hospital as soon as the car was parked and ran to Morgana's room. When I got there, I saw someone, something that I couldn't believe.

Morgana's Point of View
I can hear but I can't move or open my eyes. Earlier I heard that Marcus found out that it was my dad who kidnapped me. Hopefully he's found before anything else happens. It's been a few hours since I heard Marcus leave. The doctors have come in multiple times to see if I'm okay. I've been trying to show them somehow that I'm here, I'm almost awake, but it's no use.

The past few days in this bed, I've had dreams. In better words, nightmares. I've had nightmares that when and if I wake up, I'll forget who Marcus was. Not only him though, I've also had dreams that I'll forget who Martinus is too. But it's impossible for me to forget who Marcus is, right? He saved me and I love him. I can't just forget all about that when I wake up can I?

Marcus' Point of View
I ran in and saw Morgana awake and lively. She was sitting in her bed reading a book, called when I wake up. (A/N It's a real book by Jessica Jarlvi, search it up!) I ran to her side and hugged her. I had tears in my eyes, tears of joy. It's felt so long since I've seen her awake. There was something different about this Morgana though, she's not the same as she was before. She didn't return my hug. I released her and stood back.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.
"Who are you?" She asked me back.
"C'mon Morgana, you know who I am."
"No, I really don't. Who are you?"
"Morgana, this isn't funny a funny prank. You can stop now. I'm Marcus."
"Well I'm sorry Marcus but I have no idea who you are."
"Stop it please. I'm starting to think you have no idea who I am! I'm your boyfriend!"
"I've never had a boyfriend in my life."

She has to remember me, right? I love her and she loves me. This isn't happening. Just then Martinus, Anna and dad ran into the room.
"Anna, is it you? Last time I saw you was years and years ago!" Morgana said to Anna.
"What are you talking about? It's only been like a week."

"What's going on here? Why don't I remember anything?" Morgana said.
"Well it would be because while you were in a coma, you forgot your memories of the past year." The doctor said as they walked in. They were an English speaking doctor.
"Sorry, can you say that again?" I asked the doctor in disbelief.
"She lost her memories of the past ye-" I cut her off.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Well Marcus I think I've confirmed that." Morgana said sarcastically while using hand quotation marks with Marcus.

I can't believe she doesn't actually remember me. I slouched down into the chair next to Morgana.

"Woah, sorry but I didn't mean to make you pout. It's not my fault I don't remember you." Morgana said.
"I know it's not your fault. You're sure you can't remember anything about me?"
"Well I mean you kinda look familiar but at the same time you don't, if that makes sense."
"Yeah, I guess. Will she ever remember the past year?" I asked the doctor.
"Well Marcus, may I speak to you outside for a moment?"
"Of course." I said and went out to the hall with the doctor. When the doctor came out, she closed the door behind her.

"What happened?" I asked the doctor.
"Well I'm sorry to inform you, but Morgana may never remember you again." She told me.
"What do you mean?"
"Well when Morgana woke up, we had some tests done, and you won't like the results."
"Just tell me." I told the doctor.
"Well, Morgana..." the doctor began.
