Morgana's Point of View
I grabbed the picture of Anna and I. I showed Marcus.
"That's me when I was 1." I pointed at me.
"Who's that? You don't have to tell me if you don't feel comfortable." He said back pointing at Anna.
I had to take a few deep breaths before I continued. "That's Anna. My twin." I couldn't say the rest without crying.
"I get it, you miss her. You're lost and we can help you find your family again." Marcus looked concerned.
"No, that's not it." I took a deep breath, "She was my twin. Now she's presumed dead. The chocolate chip pancakes this morning made me remember her. That's why I ran up here... I'm sorry." I almost broke out in tears. I had to keep myself together.
"Hey, it's okay, don't worry. I'm here to talk to about anything. remember that." We looked into each other's eyes. Our faces were only inches apart. Who am I kidding, I don't have a chance with him. He is only letting me stay here because he wants to be nice. I'm sure this is all a dream.

"Uh, Marcus?" I asked.
"Yeah Morgana?" He answered.
"I'm not lost because I was unintentionally separated from my family." I had to tell him. He deserves to know the truth. The whole truth. "I-I kinda ran away..." Marcus' expression immediately turned into shocked. His eyes asked me why.
"My dad is abusive and an alcoholic. As for Anna, I'm not sure if she is dead or not, but she ran away a few years ago and couldn't be found. So she was presumed dead." By now I was in tears again and could barely speak.
"I couldn't bare it at home without her anymore. My mom couldn't help me. So I packed my things and ran. I slept in the forest and ate nothing. I have nothing, only my dog, some cash and a few outfits. I wasn't expecting that anyone would want me so I thought I was going to be homeless and starve. That's when I pulled a man over and he drove me to the dog park. Then I met you. And I'm glad that I did." I was crying and Marcus was shocked, not knowing what to say. I was expecting him to kick me out because I have no intention of staying anywhere else.
"It's okay. You're here now. You're safe here. You can stay here as long as you would like. We have a spare room you can stay in. We can go shopping tomorrow to get you some new clothes." He was comforting me and rubbing my back to help with the crying.
"Th-Thank you Marcus." I was crying so it was hard to say anything. Marcus just continued to comfort me. I laid down on Marcus' bed. He laid down behind me. Marcus put his arm around my waist and we laid there for a while in peace. I only remember falling asleep after that.

Marcus' Point of View
"Th-Thank you Marcus." Morgana was still crying. I continued to comfort her. She laid down on my bed so I laid behind her. I put my arm over her body and pulled her close. Eventually her crying came to a stop and I could tell she had fallen asleep. I didn't want to disturb her so I laid there with her, not daring to move. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and it was Martinus. He looked into the room and saw me and Morgana laying there. His eyes were switching from Morgana to me.

"I will explain later" I mouthed to him.
"Okay" he mouthed back and continued into his room. Morgana and I laid there for a while and eventually I fell asleep too.

**A few hours later**

Morgana's Point of View
I woke up in Marcus arms. I looked at the time and it was 16.00 (4:00pm). I had no interest in moving. I felt Marcus' warm breath on my neck, making my hair stand. He was so warm, I never wanted this moment to end.

I lay there for a while just thinking. Thinking about how nice Marcus has been to me since I got here. How nice his family is to let me stay here. How good it feels to not be scared all the time. How nice it is to be laying here with Marcus, worry-free. I hope we are never separated, because he has changed my life, as I know it. I stayed still for a while, making sure Marcus wouldn't wake up because of me. We were laying there peacefully when his phone started ringing. I jumped.

"I'm sorry did it wake you up?" Marcus asked me as his phone was still ringing.
"No, but are you going to answer it?" I asked him.
"I probably should but I don't wanna leave this position with you." I laughed a little bit at that comment. Eventually his phone stopped ringing. Then it started ringing again.
"I guess I better get that." He got up and on his way he kissed my forehead. He picked up the phone. I had no idea what was happening. I only heard his side of the conversation.
"Hello? - No you didn't wake me, what's up? - Yeah why?" And with that statement he left the room. What was that call about?
