hardships in life.... where can I start? Should I start with how my family survived? Never mind, If I do you just might call the police and send me away. Yet, what would be the point? It didn't break my thinking or break my way of life... it broke my social status.

Not to mention I would know how to get out of there

Living as an African America woman in the south side, while lying, stealing and purposefully injuring my self to get money was my only way of living, no lying meant no surviving.

Which meant not life.

people who saw me assumed I was stealing just because of my color but I can't lie it was the truth about me.

Should I talk about how on my way home I stole from a cab a very cheap one at that... or how about when I got there I drank a a shot of whiskey at the age of 19 and it didn't burn but felt smoother than and smoothie (no pun intended), while drinking water was like a whole new experience to me. actually let me tell you about how during the summer I fell in love.

Before you ask me why this was the hardest part of my life, its because I didn't love myself... and he loved drinking more than me.
