You saw Kuroko staring off to somewhere. You followed his gaze and saw him looking at Momoi, a classmate of yours, walking with Aomine, a schoolmate of yours and Momoi's boyfriend, hand in hand. You frowned, remembering that Kuroko, the person you like, likes somebody else. Who doesn't even love him back.
"[l/n]-san?" You flinched when you heard him say your name.
"K-kuroko-kun?!" You said.
"Uhm. Sorry for giving you a fright. Are you alright?"
Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? You mentally told youself.
'And you can't see me wanting you the way you want her
But you are everything to me~'
"Ah! Yes! I'm alright Kuroko-kun! How about you?" You asked him. Praying that he'll say 'no'.
He gave you a small smile, "I'm alright [l/n]-san. Are you going home now?" He asked.
Your shoulders slumped as you gave him a fake, yet convincing smile. "Yeah. How bout you?" You asked.

He nodded and he asked you if it's okay if he walked home with you. You blushed but shrugged it off before replying a nod and smile.
You walked side by side, an awkward silence flew between the both of you. You were happy, happy that here you are walking with the one you love but.. A person who can't love you back.

"Y-you love her.. right?" You asked him to break the silence.
He looked at you and, "Hai.."
You sighed and faced him. "Then why? Why didn't you fight for her?"
He stared at you then for the first time in forever, you saw emotions present in his eyes. You saw pain, and sadness.

"I--I can't.." He cracked.
You didn't say anything and let him continue.
"Sh-she don't love me.."

You looked at him and unconsciously hugged him as he bury his face into your shoulders.
"I.. I--I feel you." You said, tearing up.
"W-why? I don't understand.. Wh-why.." He said.
And for the first time, he wrap his arms around your waist. Pulling you closer to him. Your heart fluttered and felt heat rose up your cheeks.
"I--I.. I love you Kuroko-kun.." You whispered and you felt him froze for a second before embracing you tighter.

"I-it's okay.. You don't have to answer.." You said.
He loosen up his grip on you and faced you. "[L/n]-san?" He called.
"Hm?"
He smiled and, "Would you mind helping me to move on?"
You blinked then smiled at him. "Hai! Of course, I would love to!"
Even if it meant me as a replacement, I don't care. As long as I can make you fall inlove with me.
