I am awoken by Kraneia, who greets me happily and tells me breakfast will be served in half an hour. I thank her for the news and she excuses herself out.

After 5 minutes, I awake properly and get out of bed.

She has left fresh clothes for me in the chair. A pair of dark brown pants, a blue linen blouse and a skirt to match, along with a thin yet resistant silver chainmail shirt and a tight leather cuirass. I wash my face, change into my new clothes and attach my sword. Right on cue, just as I am finished tightening my sword belt, Kraneia returns with a goblet of fresh water. She offers to do my hair and I sit down to drink my water, staring at the paper and ink left from yesterday's letter. I wonder what I missed. What my family must have gone through, believing me dead. But Kraneia pulls me from my thoughts as she informs me that if I wish to, they have set up an archery station up on the hill, and that Oreius will be helping train the troops.

I thank her for the information but ask if there has been any word from my father.

"Noy yet, but I trust you should receive a reply by the end of the day,"

Once she finishes with my hair, I thank her and then we head outside.

I meet Aslan at breakfast and make talk with some of the Narnians that are there. They are all very friendly and hopeful as they tell me how they made their way here. When we are done, I decide to head to archery practice with the lady centaurs I was talking with. They remind me of my guard. I spend about an hour there with them and they praise my abilities as I hit the bull's eye for the 40th time. I've always liked archery, not as much as sword fighting, but I like it. Next, I practice my sword fighting abilities with Oreius. He shows me some moves, but nothing I haven't seen before. Training in the North sure helped a lot.

After having lunch at noon, I excuse myself to my tent to rest. I couldn't sleep very well last night, every time I closed my eyes all I saw the White Witch with her very green eyes and her pale white face intent on killing me. But, just after I lay down, Kraneia enters holding a letter.

"Princess, a letter just arrived." She informs me as I sit up.

I take it from her and I break the seal. The Royal seal of Datram.

"Thank you Kraneia," I tell her. She gives me a small bow and leaves so I can read it alone.

Sister;

I'm so happy to hear you're back. We will gladly send troops to your aid. Twelve-hundred of our best men and women will ride with us to you. I hope we will reach you and Aslan in two days. Don't do anything stupid.

Your brother, James.

Don't do anything stupid. I think I've had my fare share of stupid by trying to kill the Witch all by myself and fulfill the Great Prophecy. Yes, that was stupid. But these are great news! I do wonder why father didn't reply. Hmm, he's probably too busy gathering the army. Aslan will be so happy hearing we'll be getting help from Datram so soon.

I head outside to look for Aslan and find him discussing battle strategy with Oreius just outside his tent

"We could position our archers up here and here. And-" Oreius tells Aslan pointing to the map they have in front of them. "Princess Imira, have you received word from Datram?" He asks pointing at the letter I hold in my hand.

"I have. Twelve-hundred soldiers are coming to help in our fight. My brother says they should reach us in two days here at camp." I inform them excited.

"Those are great news Imira," Aslan tells me. "We could use all the help we can get."

Aslan invites me over to look at the map. It is, quite obviously, a map of Narnia, and they have marked down where the witch's troops are with black flags and where our troops are with golden flags.

Oreius adds another flag to the map.

"The Datramite troops," he says. "We could position them here and here," he says as he places them on the map.

"True, but I believe it is better to have them in front of the archers yet behind the soldiers," Aslan says as I look to where he is referring to. "What do you think Imira?" Aslan asks me.

I like that idea. "I think Aslan is right. We could hold them in position and send them where they are needed the most."

"That would work too," Oreius says as he stares at the map. We keep making plans and moving the flags around thinking of different strategies until we like what we arrange.

"Well then, I think we have a plan," I say cheerfully. Oreius and I excuse ourselves and head out. We start discussing battle strategies but we are interrupted by the sound of a horn blowing from the entrance of the camp.
