IMIRA'S POV

I was awakened early in the morning.

Too early.

We returned from the part pretty late, three in the morning, nearly four. I could have gone on, but Edmund insisted we returned before the sun came up.

"But it's so much fuuunnn! Can't we stay any longer?" I asked them both. Susan and Queen Cecee were staying so it would just be the three of us going back.

"Nope. We're leaving," Edmund said, grabbing my hand and taking me towards Henry to say goodbye as Peter stared at our dynamic, amused.

"But why?" I asked. I wasn't drunk, far from it, but I couldn't exactly think very clearly at that moment. If I concentrated really hard I'm sure I could have solved a math problem, but it was easier letting others do the thinking. My brain was feeling pleasantly relaxed and I was enjoying the effect.

"Because the ship leaves tomorrow early, my love," Peter answered from my left.

"Who came up with that brilliant idea?" I asked sarcastically.

"You did," Edmund replied, laughing.

"Really?!?" I asked Peter.

"Yup. I told you we could leave at noon but you insisted," Peter explained.

"Huh. Well, that was dumb," I exclaimed. Why on earth would I give up sleep? Oh, right, hunting pirates.

"Something we both agree on," Edmund said.

I decided to be annoying and tried to lick his face, earning a complaint form him as he pulled away just in time.

"Imira!"

"Edmund!"

"Alright, stop it you two," Peter said, intervening.

I stuck my tongue out at Edmund and smiled victoriously. Peter just laughed.

"What's gotten into her?" Edmund asked as if I were not there.

"Nothing," Peter said with a chuckle.

"I'm having a good time, Edmund," I answered for myself. "Hard to believe, I know," I said dramatically, "but I am,"

"Oh, then who am I to spoil your fun? Oh, wait. I'm the King," he said.

"Then why are you acting like such a drama Queen?" I asked.

Peter couldn't hold back and laughed loudly.

Edmund nodded, smiling in defeat. "Good one, Arden,"

"Thank you, Pevensie," I replied.

"It never gets old," Peter exclaimed.

We said goodbye to Henry who, after having us do shots with him, play a round of darts and sing the Narnian anthem, reluctantly let us go.

Needless to say, I was exhausted when Nick's sister, Amelea, woke me up merely three hours after I had gotten myself in bed.
