AUTUMN 1000

IMIRA'S POV

"Well, it turns out we sailed all the way south of the Lone Islands looking for Prince Cor, so on our way back we'll be stopping at the Lone Islands to restock the ship and then head back home," Peter tells us as we're having dinner.

"Oh, I've never been there before!" I exclaim as they bring us the next course.

"Oh, you're going to love it!" Edmund tells me.

"We've only been there once, but it was great. Felimath is almost uninhabited, most people live on Doorn and a little on Avra - that's the third one - they only keep sheep on Felimath, but it's a nice place." Peter says.

"Hmm, sounds lovely. To which island are we going tomorrow?" I ask him.

"We're going to Doorn. We'll disembark while they restock the ship and visit the Governor while we're at it." Peter tells us.

"Sounds good," Edmund and I agree.

We dig in on the next course, fish, veggies and wine.

"So, I sent a letter back home, informing them of the developments of the day. I thought I'd send it to Peridan so he'll be the one to break the news to the girls." Edmund says.

"Edmund!" Peter and I say in unison.

"What?! You know how Susan gets Pete. I thought it'd be better if she wasn't alone when she heard the news." Edmund clarifies.

"Oh. That's, actually smart." Peter says surprised.

"Hey! I'm smart!" Edmund complains and throws a piece of bread at his brother. It hits him in the chest and bounces back at the table.

"Hey!" Peter complains, but I see a smile forming in his lips. He grabs the same piece of bread and throws it back at his brother with a laugh. It hits Edmund on the forehead and falls to the ground.

"Hey!" Edmund says faking annoyance, but I can see a glint of mischief on his eyes. He reaches for the bread, rips out a chunk and throws it at his brother.

"Oh, it's on," Peter says as he grabs a large brad loaf and holds it like it's a sword, pointing it at his brother. Edmund grabs one as well and they both stand up and start fighting with it as if they had swords, but soon resolve to hit each other whenever they can with it.

"Come on Peter! You almost have him, Ed!" I cheer them on as they put on their show. This continues for a few bore blows but soon they lave lump useless pieces of bread so they decide it's time to stop. They rejoin the table laughing and we all proceed with our dinner merrily.
