Chapter 60

"Yomi nee! Are you ready for us!" The voice of the well known knuckle headed ninja shouted with his signature smile and smug look like he was actually prepared for what they could throw at them.

"Yup!" Jump says showing her own signature smile. "Good luck!"

"Thanks but we won't need it!" Sasuke replied looking at Neji as if saying 'I'm a better ninja so this should be no problem.'

Soon the group enters the training groups leaving Neji who had put back his shirt and now looked as perfect as he first did, Yomi hummed slightly.

"Do you think they'll like it?"

As if on cue a loud mortified scream came from the area, it seemed to be an odd mixture of all three voices, Yomi couldn't help herself and burst out laughing next to Neji who silently prayed for his juniors.

He himself had personally had a hard time with the boar, and Yomi had come back catching two more forcing them to take on one each. This could easily considered cheating by naruto as it wasn't technically a trap, more like an ambush.

She shrugged turning around and hooking her arm with Nejis'. "Let's go and eat! I'm hungry!" She could deal with naruto later.

"Neji nii san! I want some bbq!" Yomi said excitedly pointing at the bbq shop with a dango box in her hand. Neji wanted to cry, this little girl had the stomach of a snake, it seemed bottomless! All his pocket money for the week had been eaten by her...

"Oh! Itachi! Shisui!" His thoughts were drawn to the girl who had left his embrace and has run off to two figures in the distance, they were both older than Neji and seemed to already be genin. But it was weird, she didn't refer to them as 'nii san', why was that? Wasn't itachi her elder brother?

"Hello Yomi" itachi said calmly with a smile he preserved solely for his family and friends.

"Long time no see!" Shisui finding it slightly weird to see the girl he kissed under the moonlight in such a childish body, did he really have to get used to it if he had any plans of dating her?

She seemed to liked being in her child form most of the time but that really left him feeling disappointment especially when she was so beautiful when she's his age. He sighed, compared to having her permanently in a child's body this was a small price to pay, he just had to wait till she got older .

"What are you up to?" Itachi asked not noticing what was going on in his friend's head.

"I want to go and eat barbecued meat." She said with tears in her eyes, "but I don't have any money..." she looked up at them with cash signs in her eyes and saliva dripping from her gluttonous face.

"This time I'm really out of money, but Shisui just recently got paid, maybe he'll treat us." Shisui felt a sense of alarm as itachi gave him the hot potato.

"Wait! I-!"

"Shisui nii..."

He couldn't keep talking when he saw her big expectant eyes and sight pout.

One hit!

He didn't have to ability to deny her that barbecue anymore... he cried for himself, all his money...

Yomi are like there was no tomorrow, Shisui nearly lost a layer of skin when they had brought him the bills, but that wasn't surprising considering that Yomi didn't value money at all.

Money was something she could make whenever she wanted as long as she was alive and she was a god so what was the point of collecting money?

Nothing in this world had any impact on her, she was only doing these things because she wanted to.

"I hope you enjoy eating my money..." Shisui said darkly as he stared at his now empty money bag.

"Shisui nii is the best!"

"Didn't you know I was the best before now!?" He said squeezing her cheeks, Yomi smiled nervously.

"My bad, when we get back I'll get some watermelons and iced grapes for you ok?"

Shisui remembered how she used to feed him fruit when he was younger and he couldn't help but smile.

Yomi thought for a second before adding something else, "When the cherry blossoms bloom again let's go and see them."

He stopped looking at her, "promise?"

Itachi's heart spiked up, what was this feeling? Like they were saying some kind of early goodbye.

She nodded. "Promise."

Neji couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable as he watched the two, an unknown sense of loss loomed over him and he couldn't shake it off. Either way he found himself unable to take his eyes away from the two who now had their backs to him, why did he feel a massive gap between them and him?

Itachi couldn't help but feel restless, Yomi turned to him, her sweet smile had suddenly turned cunning. She mouthed.

"What do you know about sacrifice, weasel?"
