She hasn't been in control of anything in a long time, much less the moon. She really felt that lack of control when the one human who took her in and taught her how to live dies in her arms. If having his blood on her hands not enough, learning he left her as his daughter's godmother's about to make her snap; what's she supposed to with a baby? Fortunately or unfortunately, Nola's no baby, least she doesn't consider herself one. Sahar doesn't know if she deserves a fresh start but it's time for one -- for Nola's sake. So she uproots them just like that. She's determined for them to learn how take back their own power and move on together.
SOME EXTRA : So yea Sahar's a former (moon) goddess turned human -- I know, it's a fav trope of mine -- and considering this universe any number of people could've cursed her
This can be as AU as you want honestly the thing I miss most about this show is the cinematography early on in the series so you can change the storylines as much as you want and you can include the main True Blood characters as little or as much as you want (I really don't mind their absence)
If you want to start including her in the canon storylines the witches could've swiped her when they swiped Eric and she could end up wandering around powerful, volatile amnesiac too
Nola has trouble adjusting considering everything, her and Sahar are really close and adorable b/c Sahar's a awkward and amazing guardian, and Alfie's her best friend after the move, which doesn't necessarily have to be to Bon Temps if you don't want (there's always MS)
Nola and/or Alfie can be totally human or have some paranormal ability whichever you feel like
As far as FCs go I am taking the Thriller cast and running but I loved Brian Bradley/Astro in See You Yesterday so he could also be Alfie and Afton Williamson's a back-up FC for Sahar
