Despite everything he knows, Translucent believes she's a goddess. Not only due to her popping up when he prays to her, but the entire mystery surrounding her. And even though he's been near obsessed with her since he was a kid, he's never been able to figure out her connection to Compound V, least all alone secretively like he has been. He's the first person who ever willingly touched her skin-to-skin and probably the last, she doubts anybody else would survive it. When he calls her to the wrong place at the wrong time on accident, more people know of her existence than ever before.
A LOT EXTRA : I don't know what this is saying about me but like a lot of my powered OCs -- including my fr Anna Marie plot -- Myown's a bit like Rogue from X-Men; skin-to-skin contact and she takes a piece of you, she might even have the exact same abilities as another powered character from another idea in this book I honestly can't remember
But anybody who has been exposed to her power can kinda mentally call her to them, which makes it even more of a curse for her aint too many people who have been exposed to her skin and alive and know about that link/bond though
So Myown's the rumored source of V but it's real quiet, Translucent's one of the few people who's heard, speaking of the Invisible Cunt you can keep him around longer if you want since he's tied to her backstory a bit but after she's pulled to the boys' safe house where his cage is the boys start trying to track her down, and later the 7 start hearing about her -- and honestly Homelander trying to track you down sounds like the most frightening shit ever
Myown might work with the boys sometimes but she gets in some major fights with them too, Billy Butcher especially, more often than not she's alone between the boys and the 7 making her the krewe's Ginger
h and if she does have a love interest at some point down the line, it's a ways down the line and not just b/c she can't really touch most people, I was trying to think of who I like enough to be close to her like that and all I could come up with was Black Noir (TV version ofc) and MAYBE Hughie feel free to make other OC/s for Myown though!
UPDATE : So after seeing Nathan Mitchell prove how much The Boys underutilizes him when he showed up and showed out in Ginny & Georgia I had to categorize this as a Black Noir plot specifically

And both the boys and the 7 are kinda secondary characters here but just to be clear FAWK Tomer Kapon you can recast him w whoever you want or if you want a rec I got plenty (e.g. Corentin Fila)
