Gil's son has a lot of weight on his shoulders. Trying to keep his father's organization afloat while sussing out which of his father's long time partners got him locked up and which of his current advisors he can trust. And that's all while trying to complete his personal goal: finishing high school. He doesn't think he can do all that while tracking down the baby half-brother he's never met even if he had a doctorate though. So he makes the hard decisions like he's always done. But when his father's oldest partner questions his call he decides maybe it's time for him to look at who and what he wants in his life

If we get a S2 and Gil comes into the picture feel free to rename and alter his son here to fit his father's character however much you want -- whether he starts out real loyal to his father or not there's about to be a lot of fuckshit/resentment/toxicity no matter what though
