She begged her mother not to trust the Annex, but only because it was humiliating. Her mother told her they had no other choice, and Teddy didn't realize the Annex was shady as fuck til her baby brother came into the world. And then, it was too late. Their mother disappeared, dead or just straight missing, and it doesn't matter because she has her brother to think about now. And all she can think about is getting them both the fuck out of this place, and the crackhead kid they have locked up down the hall might be their only way.
