Clayton Cardenas as Abel Rey
Maybe he's just never been to the right yacht party, but he's done with them. Even though he hasn't been in Los Angeles a year, he rose to the top quick, and he's done with this city now. Despite the ups like convincing his boyfriend to come here with him and living with somebody for the first time, all he can associate Los Angeles with is downs; the griminess of Hollywood and what he had to do, or not do, to get where he's at now. So while everybody's celebrating the nominations, he ducks out and picks a bus at random. Might be the sounds of everybody just having a good time, but when he feels that infectious vibe of pure happiness through the window, he pulls the cord. He gets off and dives into the crowd, hoping that energy can spread to him and he can forget about, or even move past, the last few years.
A LITTLE EXTRA : This is set at Issa's first block party b/c I loved her S3 arc the ending especially -- but really most plot details can be changed, they can meet at one of her later events or in a earlier season -- y3ni I mean he doesn't even have to be in the entertainment industry if you don't want (with the shit he's been through with the industry that does shape him a lot though)
