Nyssa and the rest of the newbies underwent more training.

But unlike the one with Max, Nyssa wasn't lucky enough.

She failed all of them miserably.

She was having her lunch alone when suddenly, this Toby occupied the chair in front of her.

Automatic na napasimangot si Nyssa. Walang filter talaga tong taong ito.

"Ah, so why are you sitting with me now? Nasa mood ka?"

"Nope. But I'd bear sitting with one idiot than three of them."

Agad na napatingin si Nyssa sa pinaggalingan ni Toby and saw three lads, including that Khalil, na nakatingin din sa kanila.

"Lover's quarrel?"

Napaubo si Toby. Then he wiped his lips with the napkin.

"W-what are you saying?"

He was refusing to look at her though.

Nyssa raised an eyebrow towards him. She had never seen Toby this flustered.

"Did you just blush?"

"Shut up."

She couldn't help laughing.

"Oh my goodness! You are making me cringe right now, Toby."

"I said shut up, you dolt."

Nyssa stopped teasing him but a smile was still on her face.

Toby faked a cough and then straightened his back.

"H-how did you know though? Are we really that obvious?"

Napatigil sa pagsubo niya ng pagkain si Nyssa.

"I am not sure if you are obvious for others too. But for me, you are not the first people I have known with relationship like that so I can tell even the first time I saw you together."

Natigilan si Toby and stared at her for a moment.

"And is that okay with you? I mean, doesn't it disgust you?"

Nyssa smiled gently as she noticed how Toby's voice softened. He was always acting so mean towards her but who knows he has this kind of insecurities pala?

"Why would it be? Pero na lang kung aarte ka sa harap ko like a blushing dolt, just like what you did earlier." She shivered. "Eeeewww, cringy..."

Isang abutan lang siya ni Toby at napitik na agad nito ang noo niya. Tch... palibhasa matangkad siya eh kaya mahaba din ang braso niya.

"Aray..." She glared at him habang minamasahe ang noo niya but obviously, he was in a better mood now.

"Want more?"
