One month after...

"What did you say you wanted to do first bago tayo magpunta ng Southern City?" Toby asked Nyssa the next mornibg after the last day of year-end test.

Of course, she was able to pass it.

Hindi niya inaasahang madali lang ito gaya ng sabi ni Adam. But still, it was better that she was expecting the worst and yet the good thing had happened than the other way around.

"Uuwi muna ako sa Meng Residence. I have few things to settle there and some things to get. I won't take a while though."

Natigilan si Toby dahil doon.

"What if they won't let you go again?"

"How can they even stop me?"

Nyssa's confidence when she said that was quite real. She was actually prepared to go to Southern City at whatever cost.

"How about we go with you?"

Doon lang naman narealize ni Nyssa that Toby was worried. She immediately smiled at him.

"Don't worry, okay? I have been conditioning them for quite a while now. They won't be able to stop me."

Toby was unsure whether to trust this lady's words. Minsan pa naman, napakadali niyang makunsensya.

Though he also knew that once she set her mind to do something, no one could even stop her. Ilang beses pa nga nilang kamuntikang ikapahamak ang trait niya na iyon during their out of campus training.

"Give me assurance more than your words, Ana."

"Ay grabe. Wala kang tiwala sa akin?"

"Sa pagiging makunsensyahin mo ako walang tiwala."

Nyssa made a face.

"What assurance you want?"

"Leave important things to us." Then a sudden thought occured to him. "Leave Maru with us."

"What?"

"Assurance, Ana. Do it and travel home alone or isasama mo kami? You choose."

Nyssa was uncomfortable with the idea na iwan si Maru.

Though sanay na sanay na naman si Toby dito. And somehow, even the three guys were also the same.

However, Maru was very important for her kahit na may pagkamaldita ito.

After all, she was the only thing in this life time that Nyssa really felt with real connection. Probably because of their bond as Master and Servant.

Hindi nga lang niya sigurado kung sino nga ba talaga sa kanilang dalawa ang Master at Servant.

"What do you think, Maru?"

The red-haired fair lady in front of her slowly opened her eyes.

Yes, this lady was Maru now.

She looked a little bit older than Nyssa. More likely, around the age of Alexandra. In fact, whenever they were traveling, she introduced her as her older sister.

This happened ever since Nyssa brokenthrough the Epic level of her cultivation. Seemed like her cultivation level really affected Maru and the void.

"I am okay going with them."
