It was exactly as Nyssa had remembered it.

"It is the stage for upcoming Selection." Vina told them.

"Selection? For what?" Nyssa asked.

"You see, six months from now, there will be a Tribe Tournament between the three Sun Tribes. This Selection is to choose the strongest amongst our youths and they will represent the whole tribe for that fight along with me."

Nyssa's brows frowned.

Three Sun Tribes Tournament, eh?

"Along with you? Does it mean you are a representative by default?"

"Yes. Rules change every year. This year, the heirs of the tribes are automatically representative for the tournament."

"That Prince? Is he one of the heirs?"

"Do you mean Prince Akito?"

Nyssa nodded.

"No. He is the second prince. The Crown Prince of Neretos Sun Tribe is named Prince Atobe. And the one from Austral Sun Tribe is called Calisto."

"I see."

Her mind was busy after that.

She didn't know much about these Sun Tribes. Just some general knowledge about it.

In the past life, Vina kept anything about Meridius Sun Tribe to her.

She didn't want Nyssa to find out about it until the latter received mission from her father to look for the Golden Tree.

Since Vina knew how dangerous it was the journey towards where the Golden Tree was, she decided to tell about her tribe to Nyssa.

But that was it. She never had a chance to tell her about the other Sun Tribes.

May alam din naman si Nyssa about them but not that a lot.

She knew na may tatlong tribe na inestablish to honor the Sun and they are from Northern, Southern and Eastern Islands.

Meredius Sun Tribe from Southern Island...

Neretos Sun Tribe from Northern Island...

And Austral Sun Tribe from Eastern Island...

They were considered as three of the eldest tribes in this continent. There were more obviously at doon galing ang iba pang mga Guardians kagaya na lang nila Wayne, Brock at Raqie.

Anyway, Nyssa couldn't help thinking that something was amiss with this.

Maybe, she was just being paranoid because the other two tribes came from Eastern and Northern Island.

Hopefully, what she was thinking wasn't right at all.

Bukod sa ginagawang stage para sa Selection na gaganapin sa susunod na buwan, Nyssa also found out about this trade going on from the Meredius and Neretos people.

"It is Bone Marrow Cleansing pill. The Neretos people are exchanging this pill for a bottle of blood." Leon reported.

"A bottle of blood, ha? I wonder..." Raqie muttered then her eyes landed on Nyssa.

"What?" The latter couldn't help asking ng maramdaman niya ang titig ni Raqie sa kanya.

"Do you know kung aanhin nila ang bote ng dugo mula sa mga tao sa tribong ito?"

"I have a guess, of course. But nothing is sure yet."

"Does it have something to do with the Sacred Jade?" Maru asked.

This made everyone quiet.

Of course, they thought the trade that was going on in this tribe was weird.

What would they need those blood?

Sumagi na rin sa isipan nila na baka may kuneksyon iyon sa Heavenly Objects. But they didn't dwell too much on the idea.

However, hearing it being uttered loudly by Maru, it just made them rethink about the possibility.

"As I said, I cannot confirm anything yet. The only thing we can do for now, is to observe more. Lalo na sa mga tagaNeretos.

"I am not rejecting the idea that they might have really connection to Moira and Dark Guild. After all, in the past life, the Dark Guild was able to establish their power in North. I am not just sure if it is already establishing during this time."

"Then tell us how you want us to do the observation of them."

"Let's first acquire that pill. Maru can figure out if it is truly a Bone Marrow Cleansing Pill then."

However, that mere task was proving to be difficult to do so.

The three simply rolled their eyes.

"More likely, they thought your blood is a jinx." Maru said.

"Tama, tama... Otherwise, why would they be adamant to reject us?" Raqie quickly agreed.

"Actually, I think it isn't just her blood. Her whole existence might be really jinxed, you know."

Nyssa could only pursed her lips. Mga walang pakisama!

Ganun namang inabutan ni Vina ang apat. (As usual, Leo was out again to stand guard. He insisted being the only real man amongst them.)

Seeing Nyssa pursing her lips, Vina had already guessed na pinagkaisahan na naman siya ng tatlo.

Somehow, hanging out with them, she was already getting used with their ganging against Nyssa. She was learning to simply ignore it.

"You seem to be meeting about something." She started as she joined them on the table.

"Yep, we encounter a problem." Toby said.

"What is it? Baka makatulong ako."

"Actually, you really can help us." Raqie suddenly had an idea.

"Tell me."

"We want to have that Bone Marrow Cleansing pill." Maru simply said.

Vina frowned at once. "Why would you need that?"

The three remained quiet.

They were unsure if they could tell this to Vina. Kaya naman they ended up looking at Nyssa. Since magkaibigan sila mula pa noong nakaraang buhay, she should handle her then.

"Yan, jan kayo magagaling. Kapag di niyo na sigurado, sa prowess ko na kayo umaasa."

They simply ignored her.

"Yah!"

Vina, seeing Nyssa becoming a joke again, interceded then.

"Just tell me, Nyssa."

The lady glared at her friends before looking at Vina.

"Fine. I'll tell you then. Mukha namang ikaw lang susi para makakuha kami ng pill na yun."
