78: Quest of the Southern Canyon 9

Linda went back to the safe zone with the intention of resting.

She was injured by that bitch. It was really out of her expectation na kahit isang level ang lamang niya dito ay nahirapan pa din siyang kitilin ang buhay nito.

Proof of that was her fractured hipbone.

Linda was frightened for a moment. Then her eyes met Celine's na nakatayo lang sa likuran ni Jin. She was clearly telling her to act properly.

"Where is Ana?"

"Y-young master, I... I am sorry. I failed to save Young Miss Ana. She's... she's dead."

Jin was stunned.

That wasn't the answer he was expecting.

He trusted that Nyssa and Celine wouldn't let anything happen to him and to themselves at all.

When he heard that, Jin wanted to go and looked for Nyssa himself. Pero sakto namang dumating si Linda with her messed up look. Mukha ring injured siya dahil sa iika ika niyang lakad.

Linda was very surprised facing him.

Then she said Nyssa... was dead.

"Linda! What are you saying?! I sent you after Sister Ana. How could you let her..." Celine's acting was on point. Her face was horrified as if she really cared about Nyssa. When she started to cry, her tears were like waterfall from her eyes as if they were not forced at all.

Agad namang lumuhod si Linda at sinabayan ang young miss niya sa pag-iyak.

"Miss, I am really sorry. I should be punished. Even Mara and Norin were dead together trampled by the sacred beasts. While Young Miss Ana fell of the cliff trying to escape them. The three of them were killed by the sacred beasts. I shouldn't have been alive at all! I should have died with them."

Linda cried loudly. Celine hid her face on the handkerchief while sobbing.

In fact, she was actually smiling.

Though it shocked her that her two other maids were also dead but at least the deed was accomplished.

No more slut to get in between her and Brother Jin.

"It can't be right. Bring me to that cliff." Jin said.

Gaya ng gusto ni Jin, he was brought to the cliff by Linda. There, he could see traces of blood. From the boulder to the ground.

But he still didn't think that it could be from Nyssa.

He decided to search all over the canyon for her. He believed she was still alive. Ilang labanan na ba ang nalagpasan ni Nyssa? Even before they formed an alliance, sacred beasts were nothing her.

Jin, with the power of Celine's convincing, finally agreed to go home.
