Salvation (1)

Kylie's POV

I sat huddled in front of the toilet, rocking slightly.

It was nice having John back, but ever since we've been on the road with him, I haven't felt right.

My head has been constantly pounding, and I haven't been able to keep anything in my stomach. Visions of yellow eyes filling my every dream.

I knew Sam was worrying about me, some nights he stayed with me in the bathroom while I shook, and this night was no different.

"Hey, I got you." Sam said as he pulled me up from the floor as I shivered.

"Sammy, somethings not right." I said shaking as he held me.

"You need a doctor." Sam sighed.

"And tell him what? That this is a reaction to my visions?" I shook my head.

"Have you been having any visions?" Sam asked.

I glanced up at Sam and shook my head. "Nothing." I admitted. "I can't explain it, but the closer we get to the demon, the sicker I get."

Sam bit his lip. "Maybe you shouldn't-"

"Don't." I warned. "Don't finish that sentence."

"Have you heard from Missouri?" Sam asked and I nodded.

"She can't figure it out." I shook my head. "She can't figure any of this out Sam, and the closer we get to this demon. The worse they get." I glanced up at Sam. "What are we going to do?"

"We're going to kill the demon and your going to get better." He nodded. "We have the gun, all we need is to find him and kill him." He rubbed my shoulder.

"Let's get you back to bed." Sam offered, helping me to my feet.

"The couch." I told him, his eyebrow scrunching in confusion. "I don't want to wake Dean." I nodded.

He let out a sigh. "I'll give you my bed, I'll sleep on the couch."

"No Sammy-"

"Just do it." He said sternly before going soft. "Please."

I nodded, before he scooped me up bridal style, carrying me to his bed. "Get some rest." He said softly as he covered me up before going to the couch.

My mind wondered as I laid in the bed, quietly shaking.

What if this was it?

What if this was the end for me?

I looked at Dean's sleeping form in the bed next to me and felt tears build up in my eyes.

I couldn't leave him. Not now, not when we were so close to getting the one thing that ruined his life.

I would fight, like I've had to all my life, but this time I had a reason.

------------------------

Dean glanced at me as I came out of the bathroom, trying to hide my dark circles and pale skin with some cover up and blush, but the way Dean looked at me told me that I didn't do a good job.

"You look like crap." He mumbled before glancing at John who was pulling out a papers, covering the desk.

"Thanks honey." I patted his cheek before rolling my eyes. "I'm fine." I said getting serious. "Really."

"So this is it. This is everything I know." John pointed to everything at everything that hung on the walls and filled the desk. "Look, our whole lives we been searching for the demon right? Not a trace, just . . . nothing. Until about a year ago. For the first time I picked up a trail."
