Jane expresses her feelings to Changkyun

Changkyun led Jane behind an excited Jooheon who probably would have just jumped through the glass window had someone not opened the door as they were leaving. Jane chuckled, shaking her head. "I think if Jooheon comes with us all the time this will be fun." She said and Changkyun rose an eyebrow.

"And coming with just me wouldn't be?" Jane paused, choosing her words carefully. They were just starting to come out of the awkwardness, and she didn't want to drop back into it. "I'm just teasing." He said with a small smile and Jane breathed in relief. "R-right. Teasing. We're doing that now." Changkyun shook his head, holding the door open for her.

Yoga actually did help her to clear her head and relax and physically, she was feeling much better than she was earlier. Jooheon walked up to her, some of her pills in his hand. "Do you need any?" He asked and she shook her head. "I'm fine, oppa. Thank you." He smiled, helping her up and throwing an arm around her shoulders and Changkyun's. "Cause we're the three best friends that anyone could have!" He sing-songed.

Changkyun laughed, shaking his head. "We should watch that movie tonight. We haven't had time for a movie night with everyone in months." Jane hummed in agreement and set forth a family movie night. Jooheon had happily and excitedly called everyone to let them know to be back to the dorm by 8 sharp or he was sending Jane after them.

When they arrived home, Changkyun and Jooheon happily started to prepare for the movie night, jumping around like little children and finding every snack in the apartment that they owned. Jane took this time to slip away, going to the rooftop and breathing in the fresh air. She sighed, feeling mostly content for the first time in a very long time.

She watched as the sun started to disappear on the horizon, just taking in the scenery and the calmness she was feeling. She couldn't help but think back on the past few months, shaking her head and laughing at how ridiculous some of it was. The only thing she couldn't seem to brush off and find good in was her and Changkyun. She missed her best friend.

She knew he needed time; she understood that. She considered the others as her family too, but her and Changkyun were the closest, ever since he joined No.Mercy. They were always attached at the hip. He was the one she went to when she needed to cry, when she needs a shoulder to lean on, or just when she needed a comforting presence. And vice versa. She missed their late-night texts they'd send each other even though they were literally in the same room.

She missed goofing off and teasing the others with him. She missed their relationship and she couldn't help but let out a sigh, opening her eyes and loathing at herself. "Thought I'd find you here." Changkyun's deep voice rang out and she smiled to herself. "Speak of the devil."

Changkyun chuckled, sitting next to her. It was silent for a few moments before he nudged her shoulder. "What's wrong?" He asked quietly and Jane shrugged her shoulders. "Nothing, I just needed some air." He looked at her pointedly and she slumped a little. She wasn't going to hide things anymore. She promised him. "That's half true." She murmured and he hummed.

"Care to tell me the other half?" He asked, crossing his arms and staring into the darkening sky. "I miss you." She said, eyes still trained on the retreating sun. He looked at her, confused. "I haven't gone anywhere?" She shook her head, a small smile on her face. "You know what I mean, I.M." She said, leaning against the wall. He sighed, staying silent.

"I miss my best friend. And I know you need time, I get that. I'm willing to give that to you. But I miss your presence in my life and being able to run to you when I need to cry. And lord knows that I've done that a lot lately." Changkyun let out a laugh, shaking his head and wrapping his arm around her.

"I miss my best friend too." She let out a shaky laugh, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Can I tell you something?" She asked after a few moments and he nodded his head. She sat up, looking at him. "I like someone and I wanted you to be the first to know." He pretended to be surprised, sitting up and gripping her hands like if they were five.

"Oh my gosh! The Baek YunJae likes someone?! Hell must have frozen over." She lightly punched his arm but a smile on her face. "And whom may this poor soul be?" She narrowed her eyes at him as he stuck his tongue out. "Park Jimin. From Bangtan." She said and Changkyun, always one for the dramatics, let his mouth drop open dramatically as he fanned himself.

"Be serious, Im Changkyun!" Jane teased but she was happy he was going along with it, though she could do without the theatrics. But again, it wouldn't be her best friend if he didn't add it in. "Is her aware?" He asked and Jane shrugged her shoulders. "I mean, I think kissing him and basically taking my clothes off would send some kind of clue." Changkyun laughed, shaking his head. "I don't want to picture any of that. Even though I saw it."

Jane laughed, bumping his shoulder. "What should I do?" She asked, genuinely seeking advice. She'd never like a boy before, let alone been attracted to someone as much as she was Jimin. "Tell him to run for the hills." He teased and Jane smacked the back of his head. Changkyun laughed, patting her leg. "Honestly? Just tell him. I mean, I don't think he'd kiss you or basically roll around on the floor with you if he didn't at least like you a teeny bit."

Jane chuckled, "I suppose you're right." They sat there in silence for a few more minutes before Changkyun stood up, offering his hand. Jane grabbed it, letting him do most of the work in pulling her up. They walked towards the door before Changkyun turned around with a smirk.

"I don't know about you, but I am getting so chocolate wasted tonight."
