*(IC/F) - Ice Cream Flavor*

Naib was your friend, and you knew it would change soon! You planned to confess your feelings to him today with a small activity. Go out for ice cream, after all it was summer, then you'd take him to the bridge and confess there. It was supposed to be clear skies!

You dressed in the most show-stopping thing you thought you owned, waking up extra early just to prepare for this maybe less than 30 minutes event but it didn't matter. This could go by in 2 seconds, but you would remember it forever, so you had to look your best.

Brushing through your hair you grabbed your phone and dialed the man, pacing around as the phone hummed and hummed waiting to be picked up. And at the sound of a click, you jumped up and went stiff. "Hello?" His voice was so deep and chilling, you smiled uncontrollably before plopping down on your couch. "N- Naib?" You slammed your fist into the soft cushion at your stutter, but you couldn't help but get nervous when you spoke to him. "(Y/n), what is it?" When he said your name you couldn't help but fall back and kick your feet silently. "I was just wondering- if we're still on for today?"

"Oh, yeah, I'm already on my way to the shop." You sat up and frowned. "A-already!? We still have 15 minutes!" You complained, you wanted to be the first there to show how eager you were but he was beating you too it. "I don't have much to do today since we made plans, it's fine I can wait for you (Y/n)." You could hear his smile as he spoke, he was so kind to you. "Yes but-! Well, I'll leave now too so you don't have to sit long!" You said and he laughed on the other end making your stomach flutter.

"Take your time and be careful." He said huskily, always tired he was and it was recognizable in his voice, but somehow he made being sleep deprived sound so attractive. "If you're tired, we can do it another time?" You held the phone closely with both hands, worrying you had taken a resting day for him. "I'll never get enough sleep, I'd rather enjoy my day hanging with someone." He said it so enthusiastically that you couldn't say no. "O- okay, I'll be there soon Naib."

He said his goodbye and you rushed around your apartment like never before. Naib should already be there pretty much if was on his way, he didn't live far from the small establishment, which only made you rush and worry as you ran for it.

You stood before Naib, heaving and trying to fix yourself up. "Jesus (Y/n)," He laughed and walked up to you, making you stand up straight. "I said I was fine waiting." He smiled as he patted down some hair that had stuck up in your race to the shop. "I- I know but, I didn't want to keep you waiting." You looked down as he fixed your hair before he stepped back and shoved his hands in his pockets. "Well, I guess it's good we're at an ice cream shop so you can cool down. What flavor are you getting?" He began to walk to the counter to look at the options. "Oh Uhm.." You walked up beside him and glanced at the flavors. "I'll get (IC/F)."

He glanced to you, following your eyes to the flavor before speaking up to the cashier who stood before you both. "I'll get the same." He said quickly, and you jumped, looking over your shoulder. "Wh- what? Are you sure?" He smiled with a soft nod in your direction and you pursed your lips. Was this flavor even good!? What if he hated it!

"Here you go!" The woman handed you both your cones, and you instantly shuffled in your bag for your card. "Here," That deep voice made you raise your head in horror. Naib was handing his own card to the woman and you quickly whipped yours out. "N- no! Take mine!" You shoved it to the lady and her eyes widened. Naib shoved you to the side playfully though. "She's actually bankrupt so I'll pay." You let out a short laugh before trying to shove him aside, which ultimately failed. "Uhm," The woman looked at you both before Naib grabbed your arm and yanked you behind him so you couldn't reach to the counter. "Hey-!"
