Part 34✨

~1 week later~
Third Person POV:

Minyoung, Jisoo, Dee and Piper were at the venue where they were about to start recording their music video for their comeback song. The set had been made to look like a petrol station with a small convenience store attached to it. Each of the girls made small conversation with one another as they waited for the set to be ready and while they waited for Y/n to turn up. The youngest member arrived late due to getting her hair dyed for the comeback. Y/n quickly rushed over to the staff on set so she could get changed into her mv outfit and so she could get her hair styled and makeup done. As soon as the older girls saw her, they ran over to her and bombarded her with compliments.
"Y/nnn your hair looks so good!" Dee exclaimed as Piper nodded next to her.
"You look so pretty and beautiful and hot!" Piper eagerly said as she stared at the younger's hair. Y/n's hair remained the same length it was before, resting on her hip but was dyed a dark electric blue colour that complimented her features nicely. She bowed at her members shyly and thanked them while they continued to admire her hair.

Once each of them were dressed in their mv outfits and were ready to film, they excitedly made their way over to the set.

Piper, Minyoung, Dee, Jisoo, Y/n

There was a rental matte black Ferrari 458 parked in the petrol station. Y/n excitedly ran over to it, jumping up and down knowing that she'll be allowed to sit in it for the mv. The older girls smiled fondly at their younger member, happy to see her smiling and laughing again. The staff and mv director spoke to the girls over a speaker, directing them where to stand and what to do. Piper, Jisoo and Dee were told to go in the convenience store and pretend as if they were looking around the shelves, Minyoung was told to put petrol in the car and Y/n sat in the drivers seat of the Ferrari.

When they began recording, the soundtrack of their new song 'Gasoline' began playing. The first shot was of Piper bending down and looking through the food on the shelves while Jisoo stood next to her, leaning against the shelves looking at her nails. The camera then panned over to Dee who was walking around the shop and eventually stopped at the counter to pay for the few things that she had in her hands. The instrumental become more intense as the camera changed and the outside of the petrol station was now being filmed. Minyoung leaned against the car as she pumped gas into it, when she took the pump out of the car, the drivers door of the car opened. Y/n stepped out one foot at a time, the camera showing a close up of her shoes and slowly panning up her body as she walked towards the convenience store, only showing the back of her figure.

After a while of filming the acting portions of the mv, they started filming the dance and performance part of it. When the first beat dropped in the song, the mv switched from the acting portion to the girls dancing in a studio with black walls and water on the ground symbolising 'gasoline'. When the chorus came up in the song; "Light it up like gasoline", the water placed around the girls lit up in flames while they danced, far enough away from them so they wouldn't get hurt. The moment the gasoline lit up, Y/n had to execute a flip in the choreography, perfectly timed with the beat. After Jisoo's rap, she squatted down, allowing Y/n to step lightly on her back and do a front flip, landing on her feet and continuing with the choreography.

After a few more hours, the girls were finally done with filming. They hugged each other and left the venue with smiles on their faces, proud of their efforts for their comeback. When they arrived back at their dorms they immediately went to their own rooms and tried to fall asleep. Four out of the five girls immediately passed out, exhausted from filming all day. While the other girls were sleeping, Y/n laid awake in her bed, staring up at the ceiling emotionlessly. She had been so tired lately, not only physically but also mentally. Every day she tried hard to put a smile on her face so her members wouldn't worry about her, so they would think that she was okay. She couldn't help but think about Chani and she couldn't help but miss him, even if it made her upset when she thought about him, she still loved him after all. He hurt her so much, but she still loves him, and that's what hurts the most, the fact that she loves him but he doesn't love her back.
