Part 63✨

Third Person POV:

Y/n paced nervously around the practice room as Chani began to set up a V-LIVE.
"Y/n it's okay I'll say everything if you want..just go and sit down" he instructed as he observed Y/n walk around anxiously. When he saw her sit down on one of the couches he took that as an opportunity to start the live. He couldn't deny that he himself was nervous as well but he didn't want to show that he was in front of Y/n. He didn't want to make her feel as though this was a bad idea even though in reality it was a terrible idea but it's what they both wanted.  Chani waited a few minutes for fans to join the live so he could begin his and Y/n's announcement. Once enough fans had joined the live he began talking,
"Okay this isn't going to be one of my normal v-lives because I have something very important to say, well we have something important to say" he said as he looked behind the camera at Y/n who smiled lightly at him and nodded.

"Did you want to come over here or did you want to wait?" He asked Y/n before looking back at the camera. By now all of the fans were extremely confused, not knowing what was happening. Y/n hesitantly nodded and stood up, slowly walking over to where Chani was sitting. Y/n sat down next to him and greeted the fans that were watching the live. Chani took a deep breath and smiled at Y/n reassuringly before continuing,
"I know a lot of you are confused but we've been wanting to tell everyone for a while now.." he paused for a moment before gathering up the courage to say it out loud in front of thousands of fans. He looked over at Y/n and took her hand in his own, lifting their intertwined hands up to the camera.
"Y/n and I are dating...and we have been for a while now but we thought it was best to keep it a secret" he confessed, feeling relieved. Y/n smiled sweetly at him before looking at the camera,
"We're both very happy together so we hope that you all can be happy for us as well and we hope that you can keep supporting us" Y/n spoke sincerely as she read some of the comments.

A lot of fans were happy for the couple and fangirled/fanboyed over their relationship, some were upset but that's to be expected and quite a lot of fans didn't believe them and thought that it was a prank. Y/n furrowed her brows,
"Chani some of the fans don't believe that it's true" she said as she turned her head to look at her boyfriend. Chani sighed with a small smile on his face before placing his hand in the back of her head and pulling her close to him. He leant forward and connected their lips for a few seconds before pulling away.
"Do you believe us now?" Chani asked smugly causing Y/n to blush out of embarrassment.

After a few minutes Chani decided to end the live. They both stood up and stretched, their backs hurting due to sitting on the floor for a while. Y/n stared up at Chani and pulled him into a tight hug.
"I love you...I'm so happy that we don't have to hide anymore" she mumbled into his chest. He returned the embrace,
"No matter what happens I won't leave you okay?" He said, pulling away slightly so he could look at her face. His expression was one filled with sincerity and love. Y/n smiled lovingly at him and held her pinky out to him,
"I promise I won't leave you either" she said causing him to lock his finger with hers, securing their promise.

Before they could remove their hands from one another's grasp, the door burst open revealing a very out of breath Jisoo, followed by the rest of Eclipse.
"Yah! Why didn't you tell me?!" She yelled as she approached the younger girl. Y/n was scared at first, thinking that Jisoo was mad at her. Her worry was soon replaced with relief as Jisoo broke out into a large smile and hugged her tightly.
"I'm so happy for you Y/n!" She exclaimed as she ruffled the shorter girls hair causing her to groan out of annoyance. Jisoo then turned to Chani,
"You better not hurt her or I will literally kill you in your sleep" she threatened causing Chani to back off slightly out of intimidation.

When Jisoo finally gave the pair some space and after Dee had congratulated both of them, Minyoung walked up to them. She had a happy but worried expression on her face.
"I'm happy for both of you but you know that things are going to be hard for you now right? You're going to receive a lot of hate from fans and who knows what the company will do.." she stated. Y/n and Chani sighed and looked at each other sadly.
"Unnie why did you have to ruin the mood? ..let them be happy for a while" Dee spoke up while pulling on Minyoung's arm. Minyoung scratched the back of her head and apologised.

After a while the four girls decided to give the couple some space and left the practice room.
"What do you think about spending the day together tomorrow?" Chani asked causing Y/n to tilt her head in confusion.
"Like why don't we get a hotel room and go on date somewhere far away from the company so we can be free from work for a while.." he cleared causing Y/n to nod eagerly and excitedly.
"I would love that."
