Part 35✨

Third Person POV:

Chani sighed as he looked at himself in the mirror, his hair was sticking up in multiple directions and dark bags formed under his eyes. Staying away from Y/n had begun to take a toll on not only his physical health but also his mental health. He never slept properly, nor did he eat properly. He missed the younger girl dearly and felt extremely guilty and responsible for what had happened between them. He thought it was for the best to stay away from her, but he now realises that it's only made things worse for the both of them. He wishes that he could just hug her and tell her that he's sorry and wishes for everything to go back to how it was before, but he knew he couldn't, well at least not while Piper was around.

His thoughts were interrupted as Inseong's voice resonated throughout the dorm.
"Eclipse released their comeback mv!" He shouted causing everyone to rush into the living room where youtube was displayed on the television screen. Chani gave himself one last glance in the mirror before slowly exiting the bathroom, dragging his feet behind him. He entered the living room, walking with his head down until he made it to one of the couches and sat down. Youngbin sat next to him and gave the younger a sympathetic smile while rubbing his back.
"Are you doing okay?" He sincerely asked causing Chani to laugh.
"What do you think?" He asked rhetorically as he looked up at his leader. Youngbin nodded in understanding and pat his back.
"It'll be okay" he comforted before averting his attention to the screen in front of them.

Once each of the males were sitting around the television, Inseong pressed play on the mv. They all sat in anticipation and hyped up Eclipse when each of the girls appeared on screen. They all let out surprised murmurs when Y/n appeared on the screen, revealing her new hair colour.
"Wow Y/n looks really good with that hair colour" Rowoon commented causing Chani to twitch his head in annoyance. He stared at the girl on the screen, admiring her but quickly taking notice of her features. Although she was wearing makeup you could still see slight bags under her eyes and her face and overall figure was slimmer due to a loss in weight. He frowned and couldn't help but feel upset at the fact that she wasn't looking after herself, and couldn't help but feel as though it was his fault.

Around an hour later, Chani sat silently on the couch with his head in his hands. He sighed out of frustration as he sat up and ran his fingers through his hair.
"I need to go see her" he mumbled, catching the attention of Youngbin next to him who whipped his head around to look at him.
"Chani I don't think that's a good idea..." he hesitantly said as he stared at the younger.
"Hyung I need to talk to her...I can't just sit here and do nothing...I can't do it anymore" he said sadly.
"But what about Piper? She won't let you talk to her.." Youngbin asked cautiously. Chani just shrugged as he covered his face with his hands.
"I don't know I just need to see her" he eventually replied as he stood up. He grabbed a hoodie, pulled it over his head and grabbed his keys. Youngbin watched as the younger walked around the dorm.
"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked. Chani shook his head,
"No I should go alone" he answered as he opened the door to the dorm. He looked back at Youngbin when the elder spoke,
"I hope it goes well Chani, I really do" he said as he gave the younger a small smile. Chani nodded at him and returned the smile before leaving the dorm and closing the door behind him.

When Chani made it to Eclipse's dorm, he hesitated and took a breath before lightly knocking on the door. He jumped slightly when the door opened, revealing Piper. As soon as she saw him she rolled her eyes and went to close the door again. Before the door could close, Chani quickly placed his foot between the door, keeping it open, wincing in pain as the door made contact with his foot.
"Go away" Piper spat as she tried to close the door again.
"Piper please..I need to talk to her" he pleaded as he placed his hands on the door lightly pushing against it.
"No, she doesn't want to see you" she said, her voice void of emotion.
"Please..." he desperately said as his voice broke, tears welling up in his eyes. Just as he was about to give up and walk away, he heard a small voice from within the girls dorm.
"Chani..?" Y/n quietly asked from behind Piper. The male quickly looked up and made eye contact with the smaller girl as Piper let go of the door to look at her also, causing it open wide.

"You wanted to talk to me?" She asked as she continued to stare at him. He gulped slightly and nodded his head, glancing at Piper who turned her head to glare at him.
"No he doesn't, he was just leaving" Piper interrupted as she went to close the door again but was stopped when Y/n grabbed her wrist, pulling her arm back.
"Unnie it's okay.." she said as she gave the elder girl a soft smile.
"We can talk outside" she softly said as she walked past Chani and closed the door behind her, leaving the two of them alone outside of the dorm.
