"What the fuck, X!" Cleo was, perhaps, the most threatening presence Xisuma had ever felt.
He took a staggering step backwards, back now flush against the 'jobs' bulletin board in the shopping district. "Cleo? Can I help-"
"What did you do to Joe?"
Fire flickered beneath Cleo's decaying skin, fern-colored eyes seeing nothing but red.
The admin winced at Cleo's tone, all but confirming the zombie's suspicions. He would have reached for his sword, but he was pretty sure Cleo would have disemboweled him if he did.
"I'm- s- sorry- but I had to-"
"Had to what? You fucking monster! He's terrified! Bloody terrified!" Cleo drew her axe, the netherite gleaming in the afternoon sun.
"I had to make sure he was really guil-" Cleo's blade closed in on Xisuma's skin, so close in fact, he could feel the heat
"You know full well he isn't!"
"Is there a problem here?"
Scar.
Cleo turned on a dime, sharp pine needles meeting sprawling spring fields- Scar's eyes benevolent and soft, Cleo's sharp and full of ire.
"Scar! She attacked me because I-" Xisuma started to speak, emboldened by the presence of his boyfriend.
"Shut up Xisuma," Scar snapped like a turtle, his tone not reflecting the disgustingly sweet eyes.
Xisuma seemed quite taken aback, feeling- and looking- like a kicked puppy. Nevertheless, he kept quiet.
"I would like to introduce a new rule to the server, no non-humans. Xisuma, if you would."
The conviction in Scar's voice made Cleo's knees go weak.
"What?"
