Fang walks inside the reception room and waves at Orchid, "Hey, Orchid, you are early."

Orchid puts down her coffee and says elegantly, "I am sorry I have to trouble you again."

"It's not a big deal. I am bored anyway." Fang asks,

"Is that Lin Yie still using your office?"

"Um. He's not the problem here. It's Nightingale." Orchid says softly,

"My office is like a brand new environment for her, and the medical staff want Nightingale to walk out of her inner darkness as soon as possible by visiting new places. However, Nightingale likes being around Lin Yie, so I can only cooperate with them and come here."

"I already said it is not a problem for me." Fang puts her bag on the desk and unzips it,

"I have to sort through some documents. Wanna help?"

Orchid smiles, "My pleasure."

Fang divides a stack of documents into two halves and gives half to Orchid. She says,

"I haven't seen Lin Yie yet, even though I was one of the first to hear about him."

"You were too busy, I guess?"

"Yeah, I was." Fang tilts her head and complains,

"I have no clue how Amiya and the doctor managed to deal with all these documents. It's driving me mad. I guess I am not suited for desk work. Errands and missions are better for me."

"Come on. You are a squad leader now." Orchid looks at her share of the documents and says,

"If we want to maintain the operation of Rhodes Island, we have to take care of all aspects, and you are right, Amiya is quite extraordinary, but I don't think the doctor has been involved that much in Rhodes Island's operation. Most of the work was given to Amiya, and she did very well."

Fang sighs, "Which is why I can't be compared with Amiya. If Rhodes Island were left in my hands, it would probably be bankrupt in a few months."

"Then, I am slightly better than you." Orchid says, "I can extend that by a month at least."

The two laugh at each other.

Fang chuckles, "Show me what you can do."

"Check it out." Orchid takes out a document, "Let me imitate Amiya... Um. This is a request."

"What request?" Fang asks,

"Is it about drug production? If it is, then we can accept it. Otherwise, we have to put it off for now. We don't have enough people for that."

Orchid skims through the document, and her expression changes. She smiles bitterly, "It's quite troublesome. The other party wants us to escort some cargo. I guess this is mercenary work."

"Um. It is." Fang says, "Well, we can just reject it. We don't have the operators for that."

"But it is not a good idea to turn them down."

"Um?"

"The client is from Lungmen." Orchid gives the document to Fang,

"And their payment..."

Fang skims the document and feels conflicted, "It's indeed hard to say no to that amount. And the client is not someone we can say no to."

"What should we do?" Orchid looks at Fang,

"Do we reject it?"

"I don't think that's a good idea. This is Lungmen. They would think badly of us if we did reject that. We don't want that."

"Then, do we have any available operators for that?"

"If we are going by the standards." Fang sighs,

"Then, we don't. The best people for this mission are Nearl and Shining, but they left last night for another mission, which is also important, so I can't call them back yet. The other squads need at least a week to be back."

"How much time did Lungmen leave us?" Orchid asks.

Fang shows three fingers.

"Only three days..."

"Yep," Fang says,

"If we account for travel time, we only have a day and a half to give them an answer, so we have to depart before tomorrow night if we do accept the request."

"... Maybe we can give the reserve squads a try?" Orchid says,

"How about your squad?"

Fang is the captain of the reserve squad A1, and Orchid is that of A6. If you don't know...

"While I do want to accept the request, it's not a good time for me to leave right now." Fang smiles bitterly,

"And with that difficulty level... I am not confident at all. We don't have a lot of experiences, so I don't want to risk it."

"If you can't do it, then it is impossible for us," Orchid asks,

"What about A4?"

"Still no. Yato is not back yet. She still on a mission" Fang says,

"If she is not here, A4's fighting power will be reduced drastically."

"What about A4 reserve?"

"... You mean, Melantha?"

"Melantha should be the best candidate for this right now."

"Maybe, but..." fang says,

"Not everyone from A4 reserve is present. Adnachiel left with Amiya."

"...  So Adnachiel is not here? That's a problem."

Orchid thinks for a moment before speaking, "We can replace him with Rangers. Rangers is part of A4. He has more experiences than the entire A4 reserve combined."

Fang agrees, "That sounds feasible. Let's do it. I will make a report to Amiya first."

Orchid stops Fang before Fang leaves, "There's another problem."

"Um?" Fang pauses, "What problem?"

"Medic." Orchid says slowly, "You know, we already dispatched a lot of squads. We don't have enough medics left. If we dispatch the stationed medical staff... a lot of the work here has to be halted."

Simply put, Rhodes Island is still a pharmaceutical company, even though it does other things as well.

If all the doctors are fighting outside, can you still call the hospital a hospital?

"... So we don't have any other choice?" Fang is depressed.

Orchid takes a deep breath.

"No. Actually... We still have an exceptional medic."

Ahhhh... You better believe that person will be involved with this.

"Achoo. Am I getting a cold."

"I hope you have... Then you need to drink.... that"

"Oh, shush you!!"
