After Nightingale told Ifrit about Lin Yie's "sword art," Ifrit doesn't wait to be near Lin Yie anymore. She quickly moves to another room, which is exactly what Nightingale wants.

Lin Yie gives Nightingale a questioning look. He can't help but feel this was a trap set by her. However, he has no evidence to back that calm up, and he doesn't want to think too much about it.

If the innocent girl turns out to have a dark side, wouldn't reality be too cruel?

But he will soon realize that is true. When Ifrit is gone, Nightingale walks to her bed and takes out a pineapple bun.

Lin Yie asks, "Did you want Ifrit out because you don't want to share?"

"No." Nightingale shakes her head.

"You are lying."

"I don't have much left."

"You shouldn't be too stingy."

"I'm not."

"Then, why didn't you share the bun with her then?" Lin Yie asks her.

Nightingale pauses before saying, "She has a computer, headphones, and drinks."

"So?"

"But I only have pineapple buns."

For some reason, this supposedly normal conversation makes Nightingale look so pitiful, and that makes Lin Yie's advice sound really cruel.

"Alright. Alright. You don't have to share." Lin Yie sighs, "I will go back then."

Nightingale stops him.

"Are you angry?"

"No. Why would I be angry?"

"You are obviously angry."

After some hesitation, Nightingale gives him a pineapple bun, "Here."

Lin Yie looks at the bun in her hands. He is speechless.

Damn you! Please stop! Don't make me feel more guilty than I already do! Are you a devil?!

...oh, you are one.

"Fine. I will stay for a bit longer." Lin Yie sits down again, "I really don't need it. Just save it for yourself."

Nightingale nods and starts nibbling on her bun. She really has a sweet tooth. Even when she eats, she seems to be treasuring it, but the way she eats really torments Lin Yie mentally. He shifts his attention to the bag from Kal'tsit.

He unzips the bag slowly and sees a white light.

He takes a closer look and sees an ID card.

Lin Yie takes the ID and reads it.

Rhodes Island Pharmaceutical

Name: Lin Yie

Authority: Level 1 (Special)

It is similar to the one he got before. The difference is he is no longer an intern on this card. Lin Yie looks at the word "special" after his authority level. He has no idea what that means, but he knows that he couldn't even use the bathrooms with his level 1 card during his internship.

So, how is this different now? Or perhaps, operators that can't fight only have level 1 authority?

Although Hibiscus did tell him that there are operators and interns that have level 1 authority, Lin Yie only saw people with authorities between level 2 and level 6. Even the most ordinary workers he met have level 2.

He looks through the bag and finds several forms.

Rhodes Island Psychology Department Member List and Recruitment Notice.

"Recruitment, huh." Lin Yie feels somewhat proud of himself, "I am a leader now."

"I want to join," Nightingale says.

"What can you do?"

"I am a doctor."

"I am surprised you remember that." Lin Yie says,

"But no. If I let my patient be a psychologist, isn't that too irresponsible of me? After all, mental patients have fragile minds."

Think about it. If your doctor's illness were more serious than yours, what would you think?

And they can't be a vet.

So he writes.
