One week later:

Y/N's POV:

"Can you wink?" My five years old cousin sister asked me.

I winked at her to prove that I can.

"Wow! That's really cool! Can you teach me as well?" She asked me.

"Daisy, it's time already" a guy said coming in.

"Who are you?" I asked him to see an unfamiliar face.

"I'm Daisy's teacher" he said.

"She is just five years old" I said with a 'duh' look.

"Woah! The handsome teacher is here" My mom said suddenly coming.

"Do you know Y/N that Ian is a really good and smart guy who is now studying Engineering in the finest college of our country, teaching our Daisy for free just because he finds her adorable?" My mom completed.

I quickly hugged Daisy protectively and said,

"You have some bad intentions, don't you?"

"What? No! Daisy saw me at a seminar in her school and said that she is my fan because all the cool stuff of science that I taught them in the seminar. So she wanted to learn some of that" he said getting flustered.

I mouthed 'oh'.

Suddenly I saw my mom glaring at me.

"You want me to talk to him?" I said with disbelief to my mom.

"Yeah. How long will you keep being a fan of some foreign boys? You should move on now."

"Mum I-" I got cut off by someone coughing.

"Can I borrow her for a moment?" Ian said coming in.

"Yes. Of course" My mom answered before I could and Ian gently smiled.

He came in and I turned around.

"Hey teacup" he said and I turned to face him, my jaw dropped.

"How do you know this name?" My school friends used to call me by this name.

"Hello. I am Ian McKenzie. Your batch mate of Scholastica Middle School. I was on football team" he said and raised his hand for me to shake.

That's when I remember. The girls of my middle school used to go crazy for a guy in the soccer team whose name was Ian too. But I was too busy fangirling for K-pop idols that I didn't even used to notice him.

"Yeah! I know you" I said punching his arm.

"What is this interaction?" He said indicating my punch.

"Isn't that how middle schoolers greet?" I said laughing.

"Yeah. But we aren't in middle school anymore" he said.

"That doesn't matter. So how did you recognise me though?" I asked.

"Come and have lunch" my mom said coming into my room.

We couldn't complete the conversation.

Five days later:

I was sitting on the terrace of my house. Jungkook hasn't called me even once yet.

I know that he must be busy. But a text wouldn't hurt, right?

Then again maybe he didn't even feel the need to do it.

Should I text him?

No. I would look so desperate then.

Ugh! I pulled my hair out of frustration.

"Your hair must be really strong" someone said behind me.

I looked back to see Ian.

"Are you living here now?" I asked him not even knowing who lives in my house.

"No. I just stayed back today" he said and took a seat beside me.

"And my mom just let you?" I asked.

"Yes. Why wouldn't she? I'm a nice guy" he said with a laugh.

"Do you remember that time when we had computer labs?" Ian said again.

"Yeah. Were you in that class too?"

"Woah. You don't even remember!" He said pretending to get hurt.

"How could I? I was the lab representative. Remember? I had to be really busy" I said shrugging.

"Yeah. I used to watch you, helping others. Do you know why I am studying Engineering?" He said.

I shook my head.

"Because of you. Seeing you so passionate about it, made me want to know about Engineering even more though I am majoring Electronics now."

"I remember how much serious I was about it" I said and laughed.

Then we were sitting in silence for a while which Ian broke by saying,

"You had a crush on me too, right?"

"I didn't even recognize you at the first sight" I said and he laughed before nodding.
