Chapter Eighty-Seven

After their quick reunion at Hog's Head Inn, Neville and Roman led Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Carina through the tunnel. As they did, Neville caught them up with what has been happening in Hogwarts, and asked them about their adventure in Gringgots - and those who got beaten up for celebrating their victory there.

"Hogwarts is not the same anymore - the Carrows are in charge of disciple now - they like punishment," Neville said. "Look at Roman, he's an example - got thrown in detention more times that we can count."

Carina turned to Roman, she brought her wand closer to his face and finally noticed the scars and bruises, she was sure she saw claw-marks at his face, and a part of his ear looked like it was bitten off!

"Don't tell me they did this to you!" Carina exclaimed. "Roman, your ear -"

"Oh, that, that's not he Carrows," Roman said. "That's the result of diplomacy."

"Diplomacy?" Hermione asked confused.

"You're not the only ones Dumbledore gave a task to do," Roman said. "Dumbledore wanted me to have the wargs at the Forest to fight at our side - had to fight one of their own to get them to - bloody bastard bit off part of my ear, but I made sure I bite two of his own - probably knocked a tooth out as well."

"Hold on - so you've been in the Forest?!" Ron exclaimed. "Since when?"

"Roman left for the Forest a few months ago - after Theodore gave us his plan - didn't come back until earlier this morning - after Maisie sent the signal for him to come back," Neville explained.

"I stayed with the wargs for a few months - and then we had to trave two days to get back to the Forest near Hogwarts," Roman said.

"You said Theodore - you don't mean Theodore Nott, right?" Ron scoffed.

"Aye, him," Neville nodded. "Nott came to the D.A. - gave us his plan to help us - and how to get Carina out of the Manor - then told Roman to get to Dumbledore's job for him - he's also the one who got Carina's message to us - and we get it to the Order."

Carina elbowed Ron at the side. Hard.

"I told you," Carina said. "Theodore is a good person - he's been trying to help us!"

"Speaking of which, where is he?" Neville asked.

"We got separated at the Manor," Carina said.

"Bollocks," Roman muttered. "That Bastard better get out of there alive."

Carina reached to Roman and held his hand, "He will. This is Theodore we're talking about, I'm sure he's figured out something to get himself out of there."

"What else has happened?" Harry asked Neville.

"Well, since we were not standing down - Death Eaters went to get after people we care about. In my case, they went after Gran - but because of Carina's message of them going after our families, we managed to tell the Order and they managed to hide before the Death Eaters could get there," Neville said. "She sent me a message about it - said she was proud and that I am my parents son - and to keep it up."
