Christmas passed quickly than anticipated. One morning Carina was waking to the sound of her Uncle ringing bells in their room, opening presents by the tree (which interested Carina as she received a gift with the name "Moony, and got a doll with a beautifully sown Carina constellation at the dress, she asked Tom and Charity, but the only answer she got was, "he's your godfather -- but he's been busy for the past years and hasn't got the time to visit."), eating Charity's delicious meals, the next morning she found herself waking to get to King's Cross to return to Hogwarts. The ride was short and entertaining back to Hogwarts as she shared it with Hermione, Roman, Neville, and Morgan Diggory. They told stories of their Christmases, and of course, Roman challenged Morgan Diggory to a game of chess. It was a brutal match as the two played as equals and ended it with a draw.

Once they arrived at Hogwarts, Morgan separated himself from the group and joined his friends and brother at his House, Roman too left for the Slytherin dorms, joining Theodore when he found him, and the three Gryffindors climbed the stairs up to their Tower where Harry and Ron were waiting for the two girls.

"So, have you two found anything?" Hermione asked them immediately.

"Can't we first ask how the holidays were, Hermione?" Carina said. "But to answer your question, I couldn't find a chance to ask them about who Nicholas Flamel was."

"So, how were the Holidays?" Harry asked them.

"Great! Yours?" Carina asked.

"Eventful." Harry shrugged. "By the way, Carina, I never got a chance to sent you and your family a letter for the gift you sent over. It meant a lot."

On the morning of Christmas, Harry was surprised by the volume of gifts he received. It wasn't as many as Ron's or as Dudley's, but it was more than what he usually got. First, there was Mrs. Weasley, who made him a sweater and sent some chocolate fudge; then there were the Goldsteins and Carina, who sent a pair of new Quidditch gloves just his size, and as well as a batch of cupcakes; and of course, there was the mysterious sender who gave him the Invisibility Cloak that was once his father's. And, the Dursleys sent their gift as well. A fifty pence piece.

"No problem, Harry." Carina smiled. "We're, glad you liked it."

"Quick question – how did you know my size?" Harry asked.

"The key is observation." Carina answered, which had Harry look at her in shock. "Just kidding, I had Roman check your size the other day."

"Oh, so that's why he kept asking." Harry chuckled.

"Well then, Carina and I would just be placing our things in the dorms, then we could check the library again." Hermione said.

"Can't we do it tomorrow?" Ron whined.

"Ron's right, even I still have the Holidays-hangover." Carina joked.

"Fine. Tomorrow. After the third period. No excuses."

Before Carina and Hermione could climb up their dorms, Harry called for the first. Carina had Hermione go ahead as she stayed to talk to Harry. He brought them to a corner to talk privately, which confused the girl.

"Tonight, meet me here at the Common Room. After curfew – once everyone's asleep." Harry said.

"Not really specific about the time, but alright. Any particular reason?" Carina asked.

"I want to show you something – something I found while at the Holidays."

And just as Harry and Carina planned, later that night, after Hermione, Lavender, and Parvati were asleep, Carina grabbed her Gryffindor robe to cover her pajamas and went to the Common Room. She found Harry waiting for her with what seems to be a cloak in his arm.
